Grammy-winning Latina pop singer Shakira was born in Barranquilla,
Colombia, on February 2, 1977. Her father is a Lebanese-American
and her mother is a native of Colombia of Italian and Spanish .
Shakira began her musical career at age 12 and quickly captured fans
throughout Latin America. She won the 2001 Best
Latin pop Grammy for her "MTV Unplugged" album.She can speak
Portuguese, Italian, and English, in addition to Spanish. She has houses in
the Bahamas; Miami; Barranquilla, Colombia; and Barcelona, Spain.

Tarkan Tevetoglu - simply known as Tarkan, is a World Music award
winning Turkish classical and pop music singer. He was Born in Alzey, near
Frankfurt in 1972, he grew up in Germany. His road to fame began when
his family moved to Istanbul in 1988, and he began to prepare for
University entrance exams in 1990. In 1991, he met Mehmet Sogutoglu
who made him a star. His albums sold more than two million copies in Turkey and
750,000 copies in Europe. In 1994, Tarkan spent time in the USA to learn English.

Maroon 5 is an American pop rock band from Los Angeles,
California. While they were in high school, lead vocalist
and guitarist Adam Levine, keyboardist Jesse Carmichael,
bass guitarist Mickey Madden, and drummer Ryan Dusick
formed a garage band called Kara's Flowers and released
one album in 1997. After a brief period they re-formed
with guitarist James Valentine, and pursued a new
direction as Maroon 5. The following year they released
their debut album Songs About Jane, -"Harder to
