II.Grammar: Double comparison

1. Comparative + and + comparative : càng lúc/ngày càng…

Ex: - The weather is getting colder and colder.
- The price of gold is becoming more and more expensive.
- Mai speaks English more and more fluently.
- They work harder and harder.

S + V + short adj /adv + ER + and + short adj/adv + ER.
 S + V + more and more + long adj /adv.
•Use: We use these structures to say that something

is changing continuously and increasingly.


 Complete the sentences,
using “Double” Comparatives
