Using Negative with Present tense verbs
To make a negative sentence: If there is an auxiliary verb, (can, must, will, have, be, etc.)
just add not. If there is no auxiliary verb (and if the main verb is not be or sometimes have),
do not or does not is introduced to form a negative.
Examples:





We will have ice cream for dessert. We will not have ice cream for dessert.
He knows where the cat is hiding. He does not know where the cat is hiding.
You must brush your teeth after eating. You must not brush your teeth after eating.
I have the answer to number 2. I do not have the answer to number 2.
