 Tính chất hóa học chung
1. Cacbon no: ưu tiên phản ứng Thế, cracking.
2. Cacbon không no C=C: ưu tiên phản ứng Cộng, trùng hợp, oxi hóa không hoàn toàn.
3. Cacbon không no C ≡ C: ưu tiên phản ứng Cộng, trùng hợp, oxi hóa không hoàn toàn, thế ion Ag+.
4. Cacbon thơm: Ưu tiên phản ứng Thế, cộng. C gắn với C thơm bị oxi hóa không hoàn toàn.
5. Nhóm OH ancol: KL (>Mg), Cu(OH)2, Axit vô cơ, hữu cơ, tách nước, oxi hóa không hoàn toàn.
6. Nhóm OH phenol : KL (>Mg), anhidrit Axit vô cơ-hữu cơ, muối Na2CO3 , dd kiềm, thế vòng benzen.
7. Nhóm CHO: H2 , O2 , dd Br2, dd KMnO4 , AgNO3/NH3, Cu(OH)2/OH-.
8. Nhóm COOH: KL(>H), oxit bazơ, bazơ, muối, ancol, tách nước. (chú ý: axit focmic có nhóm -CHO)
