Last year, My friend and I spent a weekend in the countryside . We visited my uncle

s farm . I had
been to the farm several times before, but this was the first time for my friend. Naturally, it was a
gread event for him . Finally , the day came .It was a fine morning. We got up very early because we
wanted to leave after beakfast. We made the journey by bus. We reached my uncle

s farm at noon.
After lunch , we spent many hours walking round the village to see the sights and walking through the
wood to look for bird

s nests.
In the next morning , we had a big breakfast with plenty of farm products. After breakfast , mt uncle

took us to a small lake not far from home. There we fished and had a nice lunch with the fish we
caught.
The weekend was short , however , we enjoyed it very much . The country air was fresh and pure .
We felt healthy and strong when we came back to the city for our school work.
