I. Objectives
1. Educational Aims: learn about the history and general knowledge of Cuc Phuong
National Park
2. Knowledge:
a. General Knowledge: Ss are proud of the landscapes of Vietnam and love the
country more

- T asks Ss to make a conditional sentence type 3
as quickly as possible
- Ss who finish earliest will go to the board and
write down their answers
- T checks the answers and gives “+” marks to
anyone having all right answers.
2. Pre-listening
- T asks Ss to work individually to answer the

questions in the book
- T reads the vocabulary and asks Ss to repeat
- T gives the meaning of the new words:

Task 1:
- T asks Ss to read the sentences quickly and
guess what the part of speech of each blank is. T
gives hints if necessary

- T plays the tape once for Ss to do the task
- T plays the tape sentence by sentence for Ss to
fill in the blanks easier
- T calls on some Ss to give the answers
- T checks the answers and write them on the
board
Task 2
- T has Ss read the questions, then asks them if
they can answer any questions
- T plays the tape once again and asks Ss to write
down the information they hear.
- T plays the tape sentence by sentence for Ss to
check their answers
- T calls on some Ss to give the answers. T plays
the tape again and stop at the end of each
sentence and check the answers
- If Ss cannot hear, T should play the sentence
containing the information necessary for them to
check the answers again
4. Post-listening
- Read the sentences quickly
- Identify the part of speech of each blank
- Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks
- Check out their answers
