4. Assumed knowledge: Ss have already known some expressions about music in reading lesson.
5. Anticipated problem(s) Ss may make noise during the lesson so T should calm them down

- Ask Ss if they like music and instruct
them to play a small game. Stick some
cards which have names of kinds of music
on the board. Ask Ss to listen to some
pieces of music and guess the kind of
music and arrange the cards in order they

paragraph in textbook page 126. Ask all the
class to listen to her/him and follow the
reading.

+ Why do you like it? (relaxing, lyrical,
helps me forget troubles, exciting, pleasant,
peaceful…)
+ Which singer/ music band/ musician do
you like best?
+ Which song do you like best?
+ When do you often listen to music?
- Make the sample for Ss: Draw the table
on the board and call 2 Ss to ask them. Fill
in the table with information.

help them to correct.
