1. Urgency of the topic
In the context of international economic integration deeper
Vietnam's tourism industry in general, Tien Giang tourism sector has

coming to Tien Giang growing above average pace of 9.6% / year,
tourism revenue increased by an average of 20%, contributing
significantly for the socio-economic development. In addition to
these remarkable results, Tien Giang tourism has revealed the
limitations of the process of international economic integration, such

as: is losing the leading position in attracting international visitors;
tourism development has not really create many jobs and increased
income to the community; tourism development has not really
become a driving force to entail the development of many economic
sectors. These restrictions are due to the quality of tourism is not
raised, slowly renewing forms tourist services, untapped potential is
to create specific products of local tourist development environment
calendar is not really competitive, the lack of linking development
with other provinces in the Mekong delta region, human resources
have not met the requirements ... in particular, the economic
advantages of Tien Giang sites affected awarded by the pace of


development of infrastructure, especially transportation Mekong delta

Overview of research on the development of tourism in the
international economic integration fall; Chapter 2: Rationale and
practice of provincial tourism development in international economic
integration; Chapter 3: The situation of Tien Giang tourism


development period 2010 to 2015; Chapter 4: Orientation and
solutions Tien Giang tourism development in international economic
integration.

Tourism is both the characteristics of a sector characterized by a
moderate cultural sector - society depends on tourism resources, the

seasonal nature is responsible for serving the needs of sightseeing,
recreation, relaxation medical, sports, scientific research and other
needs.

(6) The business company of Tien Giang tourism is small and just not
enough resources to self-seeking tourist market but through the travel
agencies in Ho Chi Minh City; (7) The State management over
tourism also many limitations. The coordination between the


departments and localities still inadequate; (8) Business tourism

international economic integration.
3.5. Some issues raised for Tien Giang tourism sector in
economic development of the local society: (1) Strengthening of
market research activities, investment to improve and raise the level
of technology in tourism ; (2) Harmonisation of interest between the
parties to the development of tourism; (3) Building and
environmental protection for sustainable tourism development.
