- The teacher guides Ss to revise to infinitive to talk about purposes, give some basic
exercises, which Ss often meet in their exams.

1. Tính từ chỉ thái độ:

- Các phân từ quá khứ đi kèm với các giới từ khác nhau:

2. Cấu trúc: It was not until that .: Mãi cho đến khi ..
- Đợc dùng để nhấn mạnh khoảng thời gian mà một sự việc diễn ra.
Ex: It was not until 1915 that the cinema really became an industry. (phải đến tận năm 1915
điện ảnh mới thực sự trở thành một ngành công nghiệp)

3. Mạo từ a/an/the.
- Ta dùng a / an khi ngời nghe cha biết ta nói về cái gì. Ta dùng the cho ngời hay vật đã đợc
nhắc đến trớc đó.
a. Mạo từ không xác định: a/an
- Đứng trớc danh từ đếm đợc số ít.
- a + danh từ số ít bắt đầu bằng 1 phụ âm : a book, a chair, a pen.


- an nguyên âm hoặc h câm: an apple, an umbrella, an hour, an
honest man,
