- Use newwords about environmental problems in the correct way.
- Read the text for general and pacific information through Matching
exercises and Ansering questions.

Pictures and posters about environmental problems.
D- Anticipated problems
It may be difficult for Ss to learn and use vocabulary about
environment.

1- Warm up


Ss work in group of 3 to 4.
Ask Ss to discuss and make a list of people's activities that destry the
environment.
2- Presentation:
- Pre-teach vocabulary: Environmental problems.
- checking technique: Rub out and Remember.
3- Practice:
Ask Ss to match thesse above environmental problems to the pictures in the
textbook,
- give correct answer:
Tell Ss to listen and read the passage in the book.
- Ask Ss to match the names in column A with the task in column B. Then
write the full sentences.
- give the correct answer:
- Have Ss read the passage again and answer the questions in b).
- Ask Ss to compare their answer with a friend.
- Go around the class and provide necessary corrections.
4- Production:
- Let Ss work in group of three to 4 and discuss questions 6,7 in the book.
- Call on some Ss to answer the questions loud in front of the class.
