Subjects and Predicates
The subject of a sentence is the person, place, or thing. The
predicate has a verb that tells what the subject is or does.

Plural Words
When changing singular nouns to plural nouns, you will usually add

an s at the end. For words ending in ch, sh, and x, add es. For words
ending in a consonant and y, change the y to an i and add es.
Directions Write the plural form of the singular nouns. Then, write a
sentence on the line using the word. Answer will vary.
