AN INTRODUCTION TO VIETNAM
Today, I would like to introduce about my country,Vietnam.
VietNam is a small country which is located in Southeast Asia and its
population about 90,5 millions people. My country is peaceful and
beautiful. Vietnamese is very friendly and open.
Annually, there are a lot of fesivals celebrated during a year from the
North to the South. Especially, Tet is an opportunity for everybody to
come back their hometown to reune with their family.
Everyone will (or share) tell one another of the previous year’s stories
such as study, work and daily life. Mid-Autumn is a special festival for
children.
In the middle of August, children usually gather together to sing, dance
and eat moon cakes and candies in a funny atmostphere.
One of our traditional costumes is called AO DAI or long dress. When
Vietnamese girls wear AO DAI, they become more beautiful and
graceful than ever.
There are also many fantastic landscapes in my country as Ha long Bay
which is one of the seven wonders in the world or the beaches in Nha
Trang city chosen to organize the Miss World contest. You not only look
beautiful landscapes but also enjoy delicious seafood there.
Vietnam is still a developing country. Most vehicle are motorbike, so the
air is quite polluted, but must fresher in the countryside. In DaLat, there
are a lot of trees and few vehicles, so the air is very fresh. The weather in
DaLat is quite favorable to plant vegetables. That is one of mainest place
providing green and fresh vegetables for Ho Chi Minh city.

Đào Văn Kha

The climates of northern and southern Vietnam are distinctively
difference.

In the North , there are four seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and
Winter.
In the South, there are two seasons: dry and rainy season.Although each
season is special in its own way, I like the dry the most.
