As a student I am always busy with my learning so whenever I have free time, I usually watch
movies. I love watching movies because it helps me relax and it also helps me learn about other
cultures.I sometime watch with my friends but personally, I prefer watching alone so I can really
focus on the movie. As long as the movie is interesting I don't mind watch it at home or at the
cinema. Recently, I went to cinema to watch "Civil War", a fantastic movie which starred Chris
Evans, Robert Downey J.R. You should watch this, the movie will definitely astonish you with
excellent special effects and a deep storyline. In conclusion, there are many leisure activities that
people can choose, but for me watching films is the most interesting leisure activity.

Hello teacher. My name is Hoang. Today I’ll talk about a special story I remember the most.
I never forget the moment that first time I received the news of my passing the university entrance
examination. When I saw my name on the list of passers, I felt so happy that I was going to burst
into tears. My parents were also glad. They gave me the compliments, and showed me how they
were pleased about my examination result. My relatives and my friends offered my
congratulations. I felt very pround of me. That is sweetest memory that I have experienced in my
life so far.
4. Talk about your daily routines (what do you do on weekdays/ on weekends)
Good morning teacher!!! My name’s Hoang. Today, I wanna tell you about my daily activities. In
morning, I often get up at six o’clock or later. I brush my teeth, and then I have breakfast. At 7 a.m
I go to school. I finish my study at 10:50. I have lunch at 11 a.m. I have 3 hours to take a nap. At
1:30 pm, I go to school again. I finish all stuffs at 16:30. I come back home at 17 o'clock. I do
some sport from 17:30 to 19 o'clock . After that, I cook dinner and take a bath. I take 2 hours for
relaxing from 20 to 21:30, I go to bed at 21:45. That’s all. Thank you for you’re listening!

Hello teacher. My name’s Hoang. Today, I wanna tell you about my dreaming job. I wanna be a
successful mechatronics engineer in future. There are 3 reason why I wanna be a enginneer. First
of all, becoming a engineer makes me happy because I like it very much.It is reason why i learn

at Thai Nguyen University of technology. Moreover, I can earn a lot of money when I become a
mining engineer.Additionally, people will love me a lot if I become an awesome
engineer,espacially my love.Thank you for you’re listening!
6. Talk about dates and special occasions (New year, birthday, independence day, Christmas
day…)
Tet is a traditional holiday in Vietnam.


It often begins in late-January and ends in early-February. With the meaning of seeing the old year
off and welcoming the new year, Tet becomes a special occasion of reunion for Vietnamese
families. At that time, all family members try to come back to their home and get together to make
such preparations for Tet as buying new clothes, cleaning and decorating their house.
Some typical Tet's food such as rice cake, spring roll, coconut jam…On Tet holiday, people have
many recreational activities. Young persons take part in the traditional games such as: tug of war,
cooking rice, cock fighting, watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a happy new
year. Adults will give lucky money to children. Woman like going to pagoda to wish good things
for their family.
7. Talk about a person you know (father, mother, brother, sister…)
Hello everyone. Today I will talk a special person in my life.
My family have six members: my grandmother, my parents, two younger sisters and I. My mother
is the person I love most in my family. Her name’s Thu. She is forty years old. She is a
farmer. She is not very beautiful, but there is something attractive about her. Her face is oval with
big black eyes and her lips are always smiling. She has long black hair, a slim build and a sunny
skin. She is very sweet and kind to her husband and children. She never gets angry with anyone.
As a simple person, she does not like wearing expensive clothes and jewels.
I love my mother very much. I miss her a lot when I am away from her for a long time. When I
am free, I help my mother with the washing, cooking and errands. I always obey and respect my
mother and try to study hard to please her.
I wish she would live with me forever.
