What do you do to keep yourself healthy?
Like lots of young people nowadays, I decide to do gyms to keep my body more attractive and
healthier. You know, gyms have become more and more popular recently as people worry more
and more about their appearance. Besides, I also try to think positively and have a pessimistic
outlook on life.

Do you think playing sports is necessary for everybody?

Yes, I certainly think so. Sport not only keeps us healthy and
out of trouble, but it also teaches us discipline and
interactive skills. Moreover, playing sports is also a great
way to make friend with like-minded people.

How do you usually travel?
I normally use my motorbike to travel to my workplace or anywhere in the city. It’s
really convenient because I can leave when I want and stop off where I want ,but if I
need to travel in long distances, it would be necessary to take a bus or a train as
they’re faster and cheaper.

Do

you

prefer

travelling

by

public

transport?

Why?

Yes, I like using public transport every once in a while because it’s quite economical. There is
a bus station right across the street and I can get to many places using this type of transport.
Besides, I usually take a train to come back to my hometown. However, there are often delays
with the trains so I have to end up with a really long journey.

What

is

your

opinion

on

traffic

in

Vietnam?

Well, I have an extremely negative attitude toward the traffic in my country. I believe that if a
foreigner travels to Vietnam, he will certainly be shocked because of the traffic here. Wherever I
go, there are always congestions, accidents or pollution. Besides, I think the sounds coming from
trucks and cars on the road are the most terrible and deafening kinds of sounds.

Situation: You have just arrived at an exotic mountainous area. There are several ways of climbing to the top:
Going by cable, climbing stairs, and climbing with tools (axes, ropes, etc.) Which would you choose?

CONCLUSION

INTRODUCTION

Well, this is such an unexpected situation. If I came to a spectacular
mountainous region, among the given options, I would choose to go to the top by
cable for the following reasons.

BODY I
Firstly, when I go by cable, not only could I see the imposing sceneries but I could also avoid
sunshine, dispelling my apprehension of headache. I love seeing landscapes from the high,
taking photos and then sharing them with my friends. Besides, I think it would be faster and less
exhausting than scaling and climbing with tools.

BODY II
There are several reasons why I don’t choose the other options. As an impatient person, I find the two
choices extremely time-consuming. Climbing with axes or ropes actually is a nightmare to me. I have
seen many accidents on TV before and I am so afraid of falling off. Scaling sounds so boring; it’s just
similar to go hiking and I may give up halfway.

CONCLUSION

In short, if I were in the situation, I would opt to
go up to the top by using cable owing to its
unique features.

Topic:

It’s

become

more

and

more

important

to

preserve

water.

INTRODUCTION
Water is probably the most important substance for preserving life. Now, I’m
going to give some specific reasons why water conservation is an urgent
mission nowadays.

BODY I
Firstly, water is used every single day for various purposes. Many people claim that
humans can survive for weeks without food, but for only a few days without water.
Plants and animals need water to grow. And, we use water for cleaning bodies, homes
and producing electricity.

BODY II
Secondly, contaminated water is extremely dangerous because not only does it cause severe illness like
nausea, vomiting, cramps, diarrhea but it also brings death to the users and our next generations. Thirdly,
water scarcity is affecting a large number of people around the world. The citizens in many countries like
China, India, and Sub-Saharan Africa lack access to clean drinking water.

BODY III
Finally, in my opinion, our planet is getting hotter, which causes water to evaporate more quickly and
diminishes the amount of water available in lakes and rivers, leading to serious water deficiency,

climate change and global warming. Therefore, we have to conserve water and use our existing
supply of water more efficiently. That’s all I want to say about this topic.

What do you think about water situation in your city?
Well, it’s not really bad. The inhabitants in my city still have enough water to use for
daily activities. However, I see many people throw rubbishes in lakes and rivers on a
regular basis, which, in my opinion, has an extremely negative impact on the water
sources.

What are the solutions to protect water sources?
In my view, we could do simple methods to conserve water supply like taking short showers,
switching the tap off while brushing teeth or checking for leaky faucets and having them fixed
regularly. Besides, I think people should dispose wastes and chemicals properly. It’s also a
good idea for the government to impose a heavy fine for any bad behavior to our
environment.

What can you do to raise awareness about this problem?
I have to admit that my awareness about this problem is quite poor, it may be because I was born in the
place which still has a sufficient supply of water. I think I should try to update information through
reading news on the Internet and get involved in water education, organizing discussions about water
scarcity with friends not only in Vietnam but also in other countries.
