NOTE:
Không dùng thì hiện tại tiếp diễn với các động
từ chỉ nhận thức, tri thức như: see, understand,
know, like, want, glance (liếc qua), feel, think,
smell(mùi), love, hate,remenber, forget(quên)
…. Với các động từ này ta dùng thì thì hiện tại
đơn.

Từ những ví dụ ở trên, các bạn có thể
thấy, chúng ta dùng thì hiện tại tiếp diễn
để chỉ đến những sự vật sự việc mang
tính chất tạm thời và có giới hạn về thời
gian, còn thì hiện tại đơn để chỉ thói quen
hay sự việc mang tính chất lâu dài.
