Passover is in late March or early April. This festival is celebrated in Israel and by all Jewish
people. On this festival, people celebrate freedom from slavery. Passover is also an ancient
spring festival. On the first and second nights of Passover, Jewish families eat special meal
called the Seder. Easter is a joyful festival which is celebrated in many countries. It happens at
around the same time as Passover. On Easter day (Easter Sunday), young children receive
chocolate or sugar eggs as long as they are good. In many countries, people crowd the streets to

in Great Britain produces an average of five kilos of waste paper a week. And every day of the
year throughout the world, about twenty million paper bags and newspapers are screwed and
thrown away. Making paper requires a lot of wood pulp and the work of millions of workers.
Many countries have had plans to recycle waste paper to save money and labor. In countries
where there is the cooperation of the public, paper mills recycle as much as sixty percent of the
waste paper. for every ton of recycled newsprint, twelve trees can be saved.
