There are two long rivers in Viet Nam. The Red River is
1,200 kilometers long. It starts in China and flows to the
Gulf of Tonkin.
The Mekong River is longer than the Red River. It starts in
Tibet and flows to the Bien Dong.
The Nile River is the longest river in the world. It is 6,437
kilometers long. It starts in North Africa and flows to the
Mediterranean Sea.
Phanxipang is the highest mountain in Viet Nam. It is 3,143
meters high. But it is not the highest mountain in the world.
The highest mountain in the world is Mount Everest. It is
8,848 meters high.
