I. Dạng câu hỏi có từ để hỏi.

II.Cấu trúc nguyên mẫu sau động từ đặc biệt.
Sau các động từ:
Acknowledge, thừa nhận, Assume: cho là, Believe: Think, say, understand,
know, report, claim(tuyên bố), feel, find, presume (coi như)
Ex. People think that he is a thief. -> It is thought that he is…….
->He is said to be a thief.
People said that he was jealous of her. (Người ta nói rằng anh ta si mê cô nàng)
It was said that he was jealous of her.
He was said to have been jealous of her.
III. Sau động từ bị động thường có nguyên mẫu “to”
They saw him go out. -> He was seen to go out
His father made him finish his homework. -> He………
*chú ý sau “let” không có “to”
They let us go.->We were let go.(We were allowed to go out)
IV. Câu mệnh lệnh:
*Write your name here. -> Let your name be written here.
Bring your umbrella. -> ………………………………….

V. “have s.o do s.t” chuyển thành “have S.T done”
1.She had Nam repair her bike yesterday.
She had her bike repaired by Nam yesterday.
2.I am going to have them build my new house next month.
I am going to employ/get them to build my new house next month.
-> I am going to have my new house built next month.
3.Marry will get s.o to cut her hair tomorrow.
Marry will have s.o cut her hair tomorrow.
Marry will……………………………..
VI. - make + sb + verb -> to be made + to do something

My mother make me
• They used to make little boys climb the chimneys to clean them.

- Little boys used to be made to climb the chimneys to clean them.
- it’s high time sb did sth

->

It’s high time sth was/were done

Ví dụ:
•

It’s high time someone told him to stop behaving like a child. - It’s high time
he was told to stop behaving like a child.

VII. TO WANT TO DO ST => TO WANT ST TO BE DONE
Ex: The teacher wants us to answer all the questions.


=>The teacher wants all the questions to be answered.
VIII. IT + BE + YOUR DUTY TO DO ST
=>YOU + BE+ SUPPOSED TO DO ST
EX: it is your duty to help him in his study
=>you are supposed to help him in his study
IX:
Mẫu này có dạng :
It is impossible to do sth
=>Sth can't be done.
Ví dụ:

It is impossible to repair that machine.
=> That machine can't be repaired
X:
Mẫu này có dạng:
S + enjoy + Ving + O
=> S + enjoy + O being +P.P
Ví dụ:
We enjoy writing letters.
=> We enjoy letters being written.
XI:
Mẫu này có dạng:
S + recommend / suggest + Ving + O
=> S + recommend / suggest that S+ should be p.p
Ví dụ:
He recommends building a house.
He recommends that a house should be built
Ghi nhớ:
Các động từ dùng with thay cho by:
Crowd , fill , cover
Ví dụ:

XII. need +Vinf/ --> need + tobe/Ving + P2
ví dụ:
you don't need to water this tree.
this tree doesn't need watering by you
