- Aims: Practice to speak about temperature and the seasons.
- Objective: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to ask the weather
in the seasons.

- Write the vocabulary on the board and give example with one.
- Read the passage about your weekend.

- Listen to the teacher and read the
vocabulary.
- Practice to read again chorally and
individually.
- Then copy down the vocabulary.
- Play game to remember the vocabulary.
- Find the pairs of the cards.

*Presentation
- Set the scence: today we ask and say about
the weather and the season in a year.
* Rub out and remember dialogue
S1: What’s the weather like in the summer?
S2: It’s hot in in the summer.
S1: What’s the weather like in the fall?
S2: It’s cold in the fall.
- Help Ss to Read the short dialogue and rub
out some words in the dialogue.

- Call some Ss to rewrite the missing words
and explain it.

2- Practice
* Picture drill
- Go through 4 pictures:
- Get Ss to look at 4 pictures and practice the
model above.

* Subtitution boxes
- Get Ss to put the words into 4 groups- 4
seasons.
Hot cold cool warm yellow grey beautiful

The moning is cool

- Correct the sentences.

- Look at the dialogue on the board and

- Then remember the dialogue and rewrite
the missing words
- Listen to the teacher to explain the model
- Copy down
- Look at and read 4 seasons in the pictures:
The summer, the winter, the spring, the fall
- Practice in pair to ask and answer follow
the pictures the same the example and the
model.
- Give one example in the note- books.
Group work
- Work in 4 groups
- Look at in the extra board and write the
sentences in 4 groups.
- Then each group to go to the boards and
rewrite the sentences
4- Consolidation. (5- 6’)
- Correct the sentences about the seasons.
- Read again the sentences.
5- Homework. (2-3’)
- Learn by heart the structure and the vocabulary in unit 13.
- Do exercises.
