I. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
- Listen and get some information aboutMartin Luther King.
- Read and understand a passage about Lindsay Lewis.
- Revise the past simple, the past perfect tense and the simple present tense.
- Write a reply to a letter.

-T asks Ss to sing a song to warm up the class -Ss sing songs.
before entering the new lesson.
-T introduces the listening task.
-T asks Ss to have a quick look at the content of
the listening exercise.
-T plays the tapes and asks Ss to listen to it three
times. Each time has a short pause for Ss to check
their answers.
-T goes around the class and gets feedback from
Ss.
