1. ABOUT THE APP’S CONTENTS: LEARN FROM BAND 8.5+ ESSAYS
By using the IELTS App, you are provided with recent actual test answers (which are used widely in
Vietnam as well as in other countries) written by us and thoroughly reviewed by native IELTS
Examiners to determine whether they are good enough to score a band 8.5~9.0. Furthermore, those
answers are carefully scanned by every single word and phrase by the American and British native
teachers. (Note: different examiners have different opinions and qualifications when giving scores).

2. LISTENING FEATURES INCLUDING AUDIO TAPES RECORDED BY AMERICAN
AND BRITISH NATIVE SPEAKERS:
Note: these recordings are recorded by real native speakers. They do not sound robotic like
some other apps.
For every mock test in this app, you can listen to the audio in the 2 following ways:
+Click the ‘Play’ symbol on the left above to listen to all the dialogue.

+Click on every single phrase to listen to each phrase and you can simply repeat that phrase as many
times as you want.

Tap the ‘Play’ button to listen
from the beginning to the end of
the dialogue.

Click on every single phrase to hear
the native speakers read each phrase.
Click again for repetition.

Tap the ‘Record’ button to
start recording your own
voice.

Tap the ‘Play’ button to
hear what you just
recorded.

3. RECORDING FEATURES – COMPARING YOUR OWN VOICE TO THE NATIVE
SPEAKERS’ VOICE.
The best way to improve your speaking skills is to listen to every single sentence that the native
speakers speak. Then record your own voice and compare it to the voice of the native speakers or you
can try to imitate their voice as closely as possible.
If you are in two minds about whether it is a good recording or not, you can send your
recording file to the teachers or classmates, who are better at English than you, to help you out.
Every voice recording you make is saved in the “record file” section. So you can easily access the
“record file” section, hold a long press on the file you choose and tap “share” to send it to anyone

you want. (Notice: you can share it in many forms).

4. VOCABULARY SEARCHING AND SAVING FEATURES:
