1. Making requests. ( English 8 test book, P 81) Yêu cầu ai đó làm gì
Can/ Could you + V? anh/ ch/ bn có thể . đợc không?
Will/ Would
2. Making offers. đa ra lời đề nghị, lời mời.
Would you like + to V ? mời anh/ bạn dùng . nhé!
e.g Would you like to have some tea? -> Mời bạn dùng trà nhé!
Shall/Can I ? Shall I get you some water? Tôi lấy cho anh ít nớc nhé!
3. Making Promise. Đa ra lời hứa
I will + V. I promise.
I promise I will + V tôi () hứa tôi sẽ . ( làm gì đó)
I promise to V .. I promise I''ll study harder ( con hứa con se học chăm hơn)
(- )I promise I won't + V. (hứa sẽ từ bổ điều gì đó) I promise I won't talk in class again.
4. In order (not) to + V = so as (not) to + V ( để - chỉ mục đích )

1. Passive form ( thể bị động)
Form: S + Be (is/am/ are/ was/ were) + PP (by + O ) ( PP = V-ED/ V3)

- Form: It's + Adj + To - Verb ( làm .. thì )

C. Unit 11: Traveling around Vietnam.

1. Requests.
a, Would you mind opening the window? ( phiền bạn mở giùm mính cánh cửa sổ nhé!)
b, Do you mind giving me the book? ( phiền bạn/ nhờ bạn trao cho minh cuốn sách)
- Form: Would / Do you mind + V-ing ?
- Use: Ta dùng cấu trúc này để yêu cầu ai đó làm gì một cách lịch sự
a', Would you mind if I went out? ( Xin phép thầy cho em ra ngoài nhé?)
b', Do you mind if I turn off the fan? ( Cho phép tôi/mình tắt quạt nhé?)
-Form: Would you mind if I + V- ED / V2 ( V2 là dạng quá khứ của các động từ bất quy tắc)
Do you mind if I + V ( ở dạng hiện tại, động từ để nguyên)
- Use: Ta dùng cấu trúc này để xin phép ai đó làm một điều gì một cách lịch sự.
2. Present and Past participles ( hiện tại phân từ và quá khứ phân từ)
A, Present participles ( V- ING)

B, The boys are playing soccer overthere. They are my classmates
The boys playing soccer overthere are my classmaters.
Use: Ta dùng HTPT để rút gọn mệnh đề; ngoài ra HTPT còn đợc dùng nh một tính từ với nghĩa

B. Past participles ( Qúa khứ phân từ = V-ED / V3 )

Use: quá khứ phân từ đợc dùng để rút gon mệnh đề bị động; Nó còn đợc dùng nh một tính từ
