please .On these were planted gardens of
tropical flowers and trees and avenues of
palms .

at Giza ,on the west
bank of the Nile
River. They were
between 2660 B.C.
and 2560 B.C. for the
kings Cheops,
Chephren (Khafre),
and Mycerinus. They
were meant to house
the pharaohs’ bodies
and serve as
reminders of their
almighty power.
