leisure activity after school

I.

As a student i'm always busy with my schooling, i rarely have free time but when i do, i 
usually spend time watching films. 
I love watching film because it helps to me relax and it also helps me to learn about other
cultures.i sometime watching with my friend but personally,i prefer watching a lone as i 
can really focus on the film. As long as the film is interesting i don't mind watch it at home
or at the cinema. Recently, i went to cinema to watch "Civil War", a fantastic film  directed
by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. You should watch this, the film will definitely 
astonish you with excellent special effects and a deep storyline but understandable. In 
conclusion, there are many leisure activities that people can choose, but for me watching
films is the watching films is the most interesting leisure activity.

My favourite leisure activity is reading. I like reading because it is a hobby that is useful and interesting:
useful because you can find a lot of knowledge of all areas that you need; interesting because the books
can give you the joy and help you relax after a day of toil etc... Especially, when you join the forum, you
can meet a lot of people who have interests similar to yours, comment on the books or novels that interest
you.
I love books and also natural as reading books. At the age of ten, I was awarded "The Scarlet Sails" of
Alexandre Green by my grandfather. It is the first of book that I have been. I read it does not know how
many times (Up to now, I still love it and occasionally read it again). My love for books begun.
I usually spend almost of free time in choosing the book with my friends, participate in dicussion on the
forum and reading (of course!). Every weekend and all holidays when I have no work to do, I often read
books and ruminate on it. I also help some friends can select the genres of books that they like.
I always hope that I will have my own library in my future. I love books very much and perhaps, I couldn't
live without them.
III.
The life is sometimes very tiring so I want the time to relax and take a rest. One of my best favourite

leisure activity is listening to music
Listening to music not only help me relax but also provide me with musical knowledge. I like the time that I
can lie lazily in bed, wear the small earphone with my ipod and ẹnjoy any favourite song which belong to
many kind of music example: teenpop, rook, symphony,….etc. Ordinarily, I don’t turn on volume so loudly
and don’t listen to rook when my mother stays at home, simplicity because she never like that. But when
she isn’t there, it is no problem. I can increase the volume maximally, listen any kind of music even croon
any song freely however not any comment. Oh that is very interesting.
I like symphony because it is very gentle. I can fall asleep easily while listen to it. I don’t know about it
much but I’m font of some classical works as: “swan lake” – Tchaikovsky, “Fur Elisa” - Beethoven.
Some times I listen to rock when I feel sad and fretful as well as very cheerful and happy. The rock band I
like is Linkin Park with “In the end”; “What I’ve done”; that is wonderful.
Never the less, the Kind of music I like best is teenpop because it’s very lovely, melody and youngful.
Some songs I love as: “Shining Friend”; “proud of you”; “The day you went away”; “Firefly”… etc. Their


lyrics are very beautifully sensible and easy to understand so I can read thoroughly quite easily. Beside
there, I still lovesome another song as: “Unbreak my heart” of Toni Braxton; “Umbrella” of Rihanna;
“Inconsolable” of Back Street Boys.
All of them is a very important piece of my life. I think they help my soul more plentiful and more love of
life. Do you think so?

Leisure/ Pastime
Leisure is the time when a man is free from routine work and can do whatever he like best.
In a word, it is a temporary relief from the monotonous routine task of our daily life. Village
people spend their leisure by flying kites, fishing, playing swimming and gardening. City
people spend their leisure by shopping, reading books, watching television, using computer,
going park and zoo. The common sports are football, cricket, ha du du, chess etc. and the
common pastimes are gossiping listening radio, watching television, reading books
and newspapers etc. In late winter, the nature looks very beautiful and the sky remains very

clear. Different kinds of flowers are bloomed everywhere. People enjoy it very much. In the
late winter, many people travel from one place to another and enjoy the natural beauty.
Besides, people enjoy then various kinds of games like badminton, volleyball, dariabandha
and ha-du-du etc. Travelling is a good leisure. It refreshes our mind and broadens
our outlook. Nevertheless, it is true that travelling is an expensive pastime. As I am a
student, I do not get much time for leisure. I spend my leisure by playing cricket and reading
novels on holiday, watching television and visiting many nice places. However, leisure
should be significant for everyone.

Living in the countryside has a lot of advantages, but also many
disadvantages. As the advantage we can consider the fact that the country
is less polluted and the traffic isn't so heavy. You are fit and you don't need
to worry about your health condition, because in the countryside the air
and water are so clean. In the country there are many plant species. There
aren't any huge blocks of flats, modern skyscrapers or bothersome traffic
jams. In the country you are free to admire the breathtaking landscapes such
as huge meadows, peaceful hills or forests. You can enjoy walking in the
forest and picking mushrooms or hunting. Another advantage is that you may
easily build a big house and the garden, because charges for ground
are much lower than in the suburbs. Moreover, living in the countryside
is cheaper than it is in the city, so you probably may afford many other things,
because the prices are lower. What is more, you can invite your friends to the
barbecue organized in your garden. It would be great! The other positive side
is the safety. In the rural area the crime rate is much lower. There aren't a lot
of housebreaks and the possibility of burglary is also lower. In the countryside
people usually and keep eyes on neighbour's estates. They always react
when something strange is happening. Country life is very peaceful and silent.
You will enjoy the feeling of peace.

However, there are a lot of positive aspects of living in the country side, there
are also some disadvantages. Living in the country is slower. People don't
need to hurry and have a lot of time. People in the country don't have to work
so many hours as they do in the city. On the other hand, they don't earn
so much money. Moreover, there aren't such interesting things to do during
free time. The unemployment rate is also much higher than in the city.
The problem may be also the communication. If you don't have your own car,
you may have problem how to commute to work. The same problem concerns
the access to the hospitals, schools, police stations and shops, which
are usually located far from the village. Last of all, there are some dangers
connected with country life such as heavy snowfall or rainfall.
To sum up, I think that living in the country may have a lot of advantages such
as fresh air, breathtaking landscapes and comfort, but a lot of people decide
to stay in the city, due to the fact that the life in the town is easier. The easy
access to shops and other institutions are the great advantage.
