The top 5 windsurfing tips for beginners:
1.Take a lesson - although it might be tempting to use your friends’ wide board and just spend an hour with him on
water, what you should do is find a good windsurfing school - it can either be somewhere you can drive or a place you
plan to take your next vacation to. The basics, like any other sports, are so important that it will worth the extra money
you’ll spend.
2.Start on a wide board - whether you decide to take a windsurfing course or with a friends’ help, try to start with the
widest board with the most volume you can find. The board should be at least 80CM wide and have at least 160L of
volume. It will make learning windsurfing faster and more fun.
3.Take your time - learning to windsurf takes time. The progress really depends on how many hours you spend on
the water learning the basics - up hauling, proper stance, understanding the wind and your board. You will need at
least 10X2 hours sessions to be able to control the rig. However, you will have lots of fun from the first moment your
step on the board!
4.Surf only in light winds and flat water - it’s really tempting to go out whenever the wind is blowing but days with
strong, gusty wind or lots of chops will cause frustration and might put you in danger. Be patient!.
5.Never windsurf alone!! That is the most important tip I can give you. As a beginner, never windsurf without
having someone around. Make sure someone knows you went out - get to know the local shop owner and some of the
spot veterans.

How to Make a Jet Ski Go Faster
Step1
Keep the jet ski in good condition. When you have finished using it for the day, place a cover over the top of it to
protect from any wind or water damage to the internal engine compartment. Make sure the engine is functioning
properly. Like anything else with an engine, jet skis will occasionally require maintenance and repair. Do not operate
the jet ski if the engine begins to make unusual noises, or emits a strange odor; these are often signs of small problems
which can be fixed easily if you stop riding the jet ski right when you notice them.
Step2
Add oil to the jet ski's gas tank. Select one that is appropriate for your jet ski based on make and model type. Use
about a cap of oil once every two to three weeks or depending on how often the jet ski is used. Adding oil in this
manner helps keep the jet ski’s engine running at optimal capacity, which is important in making the jet ski go faster.

Step3
Remove any excess weight from the jet ski. Look in any storage compartments which may contain large, heavy or
unnecessary items and remove them. The less the jet ski weighs, the faster it will go.
Step4
Sit on the jet ski and place the key in the ignition while you start it up. Next, place both hands firmly on the
handlebars and squeeze the gas. This will make the jet ski go faster. If you have squeezed the gas trigger so that it is
pressed completely flat against the handlebar and you still want to go faster, try jet skiing when the surface of the
water will allow the jet ski to gain more speed. Weather conditions that cause rough water make it difficult to gain and
hold a fast speed as the jet ski will slow down when you hit large waves and bumps.
