Letter from Australian friend:
“It’s so hot here! What’s the weather like in your country at the moment?
What outdoor activities are you able to do at this time of year? Tell me about it.”
Hi Jack,
Long time to see! How have you been these day? I’m very happy to receive your
letter.
It is summer time in Australian now so no wonder it is so hot. In my country, on
the contrary, it’s winter time. It is cold and dry at the moment. There are frequent
monsoon winds blowing from the northeast. Sometimes the temperature decreases
to 10 degrees and the children can stay at home. Every day it is cold and cloudy,
the sky is grey.
Despite the cold weather, I often play some kinds of sports as football or
volleyball with my friends after the work or at weekend. In the morning I always
run long time and washing after that with cold water.
I sometimes go on a tour to Mau Son mountain, it is in Lang Son province, to
watch snow. It is beautiful sight that you can find in Viet Nam.

“I know you often go to cinema. Tell me about the last the film you saw and
whether you enjoyed it”.
Hi Mary,
I’m glad to recaive your lettter. Now I’m writing for you to tell you about the last
film that I saw. The name of the film is “Titanic”.
It is the best love story I have ever watched. I watched this movie many times but I
never got tired watching it. Whenever I watch it, I always cry.

The film is about the love story of Rose Dewitt Bukater and Jack Dawson.
Jack was a poor young man but he got a ticket for a luxurious ship, Titanic. Rose
was from the American upper class and was engaged to a man but she didn’t love
her boy friend.
She met Jack in Titanic and they fell in love even there was a lot of different
between them.
Titanic was headed to America from England. However, the ship crashed
into an iceberg on the way. The side of it broke up and the ship was flooded.The
Ship was sunk deep at the botton of the sea. Many people dead include Jack. Rose
was survived because Jack helped her to climb on a boat. Jack sacrificed himself
for Rose.
I think the movie had the exellent content which was based on a real story.
This is the best movie I have ever watched. No wonder why Titanic already
won 11 Oscar Awards. I recommend that everyone should watch this movie at least
once.

We had dinner at a restaurant yesterday. It was great! How often do you
eat out? What’s your favorite restaurant like?
Hi Peter,
Thanks for your letter. I’m very happy to hear that you have anew job.
Anyway, I’m writing to you to tell about my favorite restaurant.
The name of restaurent is “Be Hai”, It is the most beautiful restaurent I’ve
ever come. I go to restaurant to have dinner twice a week. I usually go with
my girlfriend. My favorite restaurant is very wide with many trees and
flowers. Most of the food is very delicious. There are many kind of food in
that restaurant and price reasonable such as fried meat, stewed beef,

seafood hotpot, shrimp, crab, cuttle-fish, seafood soup,king crab…
everything is very fresh.
The waiter is very enthusiastic, kind and frinedly. In general, it is
clean, beautiful and very good.
I hope to have a dinner with you at that restaurant someday.

Hi John,
I’m very happy when I received your letter. How are you? What are
you doing these day? I know that you have just seen a brilliant program
about dolphins on television.
I’m writing this letter to tell you about program I have enjoyed
recently.
I like watching TV, but I am very busy with a new project at the
moment, so I don't have much time to enjoy it.
However, I always watch the news, especially the news in the
morning from 6:00AM to 6:45AM on VTV1 channel. Watching the news
is one of my habit. It helps me to know what is happening in our country
and everywhere in the world.
I also like watching the weather forecast program at the end of the
news. I think it is very important to know what the weather is like every

day so that I can know what clothes to put on and whether I have to
bring a raincoat to work. I also like the sports coverage after the weather
forecast. It's very interesting.
Write to me and let me know about your new job.

My family and i are coming to visit your area soon. can you tell me some good
place for us to go? And what will the weather be like while we are there?

How are you? I was very happy when I got a letter from you and I know that
your family and you are coming to VietNam. I hope to see you soon.
In VietNam, there are many famous palce for visiting, but the most place I
would like to tell you about Da Lat.
Da Lat is a lovely city, it is in Lam Dong provice, it is a natural wonder of
Vietnam.
The weather is very cool all year around, the air is quit fresh, water and
smell of flowers make people feel cool. There are a lot of things to see and tourists.
There are many trees and flowers in Da Lat.
Da Lat has many green mountains and a Cam Ly water fall, it is more
beautiful and spacious very much.
The food is very good and cheap.
You should visit here because it is very interesting.

Now I am writing to you to tell you about some good place to visit in my
country as well as what the weather will be like when you come here.
Da Nang is beautiful City, located in Centre of Vietnam. You can enjoy
delicious seafood, there is a beautiful beaches, it is consider one of the most Asian
beautiful beaches.
Ba Na hill is also a very good place to sightseeing, beacause it looks like a
small Paris with cool pleasaint weather.There are a lot of games to play. You can
walk along the colorful flowers park. The weather here will be cool about 23-25
degree celcius, quite suitable for you visit here.
