Lesson 3: Listening

I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

- develop listening micro-skills such as intensive listening specific information and
taking notes while listening
- expand the vocabulary about the background of a person
- use the vocabulary they have learnt to ask and say about famous football players’
background
II. LANGUAGE CONTENTS:
Vocabulary related to people’s background.
III. TEACHING AIDS:
- Projector and screen;
- Sets of cards
- Blackboard and chalk.
