I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

- develop reading micro-skills such as scanning for specific information, intensive
reading for details, and guessing meaning in context
- expand the vocabulary and knowledge about the history of World Cup
- apply the vocabulary they have learnt into daily talk, speaking tasks, or writing
tasks
II. LANGUAGE CONTENTS:
Vocabulary related to football.
III. TEACHING AIDS:
- Projector and screen;
- Domino worksheet;
- Blackboard and chalk.
