In my family, I love my younger sister the most. Her name is Thien Ngan
and she is 11 years old now. About her appearance, she has an adorable round
face with two sweetie dimples. Those dimples make her smile become as bright
as sunshine. Ngan has long straight brunette hair, she usually puts her hair up
for comfort. Her eyes are big and as dark as black pearls with thick eyelashes
and bushy eyebrows. My little sister is as tall as me, so she is 1m56 tall. She is
always active and energetic, so she does not like dresses and skirts but T-shirt
and shorts. Ngan is interested in playing outdoor games in her free time. Unlike
me, she plays sports very well. She has competed badminton at school and won
the third prize. Besides, she is fond of listening to pop music, so she usually


sings along whenever her favorite songs are being played. Ngan is said to be
amusing and creative. She always finds out different solutions to each problem
and tries to create something new. She is also diligent in her study. Ngan
frequently asks me interesting questions, which makes me surprised a lot. I love
my little sister because she is always supportive of me when I have problems. In
short, Ngan is the best little sister in the world.

My grandparents’ dreamy small garden is one of my most favorite leisure places. It is in
front of their little wooden house. It is surrounded by a climber fence. Looking out of that
fence, I could see the river flowing peacefully and a small hillock in the distance. There is a
variety of flowers and plants in the garden. During the spring, the flowers flourish and boast
their charming fragrant scents every day, which attracts a lot of kinds of colorful butterflies.


In the summer, all the plants try their best to provide us with different types of produces,
especially delicious yellow mangoes and juicy red plums. There is also a medium man-made
lake exactly in the middle of the garden with various kinds of fish, on which my grandmother
sometimes spends her free time fishing. On the left side of the lake, my grandfather nourishes
some animals for food and sell. And he has some loyal, powerful dogs which are fierce
enough to ensure the garden’s security. On weekends, my family usually gets together to
enjoy the fresh and peaceful atmosphere there. Briefly, my grandparents’ garden is my most
ideal place to stay away from the noisy city life. And its idyllic beauty will definitely stay in
my heart forever.

I have been to many stunning landmarks, but I deeply fall in love with the beauty of
Nha Trang. It is located in the Central of Vietnam which has a long coastline. I visited Nha


Trang two years ago, and at the first sight, I was totally attracted by the dreamy scenery of
this city. It possesses a perfect combination of beautiful sparkling blue beaches and green

magnificent mountains. In the morning, the whole city awakes when the first sunlight
brightens on the horizon. In the afternoon, the sun hides behind the ranges of mountains
seeing its gleam on the water. However, the city becomes truly active when it gets dark at
night. There are different kinds of lanterns along the streets, which makes the city more vivid
and colorful. Along the pavement, some vendors are selling their delicious home-made food
whose scents is spreading into every corner of the city. Even though Nha Trang is a
developing city with various tall buildings, it still remains the ancient flavor with a number of
historical sites. To sum up, anyone who has been to this coastal city would definitely never
forget the vibrant gorgeousness of Nha Trang.

Writing a Business Letter
There are some situations in which writing a business letter is more appropriate than writing an email.
If you need a permanent record of what you are writing, or if you are writing in a formal situation, a
letter is a better choice. For example, you would probably write a letter of resignation instead of an
email.
Structure of a business letter
Business letters often contain the following elements:
- A standard greeting (For example: Dear Sir / Madam)
- A reference to previous contact or reason for writing
In this first paragraph, say why you are writing the letter. Use a sentence that refers to a previous
contact, such as a previous letter or phone call. Or use an objective sentence to say why you are
writing: to confirm, clarify or enquire about something, for example.
- (The background to the letter.)
This is an optional paragraph and gives your reader more information to become familiar with the
subject of the letter.

- Asking for action / reference to the future
In the final paragraph, close your business letter with an offer of further help, or ask for future action.

I am in a deep interest in the oil painting called “Young Woman with lily”. It was
painted by one of the most famous Vietnamese artists, To Ngoc Van, in 1943. Roughly in the

a white lily. One of her hands is kindly lifting the flower, while the other is softly touching
