recently ?
Write a short passage about that trip .
Last summer, my friends and I had a trip to Dalat. It was a great time for
us after we had a hard school year.
when we finished the school year , we didn’t want to relax we wanted to
study more , but my parents advised us to have a trip to somewhere in
Vietnam and we thought we should go to dalat. Because it is a beautiful
place . we prepared for the trip with a lot of things. We bought cookies, drinks,
pullovers, so on.. and two days after we began doing our decision . we arrived
in Dalat at 2p.m by coach . we tried to find a hotel before taking a tour
around the city . we stayed in a nice hotel near xuan huong lake .The price
was reasonable .The hotel was small but comfortable and we stayed there for
three days .
Da lat is a famous city .It is about 300 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh city .It is located on
Lam Vien Highland.It attracts all the people who have there once .The weather there is very cool
because it isn’t lower 10 o c in the winter and not higher in the summer.Dalat is known as a city of
pine trees , water falls and flowers .You can see diferent kinks of flowers in any seasons so it is
called the city of Eternal spring .
On the first day , we hired a motorbike to visit some interesting places in Dalat such as The
flower garden , The love valley and the lake of sights.they are really wonderful and impressive .
The next day we went on the tour to visit the village of tribe .They live in small cottages .they
were very friendly and they invited us to drink their traditional drink “ can “ alcohol . It tasted
good . On the last day we went to the market to buy some things and some souvenirs for our
family . we also tried different kinds of foods especially “ local fresh vegetables and tasty fruits of
Dalat >> . They were very delicious .
Spending a few days in Dalat , We relaxed a lot after hard days of year .We felt very pleased
and healthy after the trip
The people there are so nice and friendly .the food is excellent .The sights are beautiful . We

hoped that we could stay there longer .

In addition to family, friend is the most wonderful present I have had. I
have many friends, and each of them has a special character. However,
Nguyen Hoang is a friend who makes a deep impression on me.
Hoang is 18 years old. He is very tall and handsome. He is not only clever but
also good at sports, so many boys and girls admire him a lot. Now he is a
student at the Institute of Bank. His father is the director of s housing trade
company. His mother is a successful businesswoman. They are very wellknown people. Therefore, many people wish for a life like Hoang’s.
Although he and I were in the same class during 3 years’ senior high school,
we hardly talked together. At first, I thought he was a haughty boy. Until he
sat next to me at the end of the second school year did I recognize his good
characters such as: funny, generous, courteous and modest. Gradually, we
became good friends. It’s a reason that why some girls didn’t like me.
Now when we go to university, I seldom meet him because we aren’t in the
same school. However, he still keeps a touch with me, helps me solve my
problem and shares joy and sorrow with me. I’m lucky to make friend with
Hoang.
For me, Hoang is not only a good friend but also a brother. I hope our
friendship

The english teacher that made a strong impression on me was my head
teacher of the twelfth grade. She's slim and charming in the slender "ao dai"
everytime she taught us. Between 20 and 30 years old, she looks always
friendly with a smile on her lips. Our class love her so much. As the last-year
high school student, we had dozen of exercices as well as exams to manage.
Thus, the english course became our rare relaxing moments as we didn't have
to be fully stretched before a complex mathematical formula or a difficult
literary passage to memorize. My beloved teacher knew how to make us feel
interested in learning English by original homework such as discovering
foreign cultures through comedies that we played principally, or enriching our
vocabulary with the enjoyable gameshow. Moreover, she addressed all best
wishes to our class with the red lucky envelope on the New Year's Eve.
Sometimes, she expressed her strictness when a member of our class got a
trouble in studying. Nevertheless, I thought that she was less experienced in


order to solve our several complicated adolescent problems. In short, we
passed an unforgettable school-year plenty of souvenirs together and
everyone left high school beginning another new adventure on his or her own
way. And I'm certain that nobody in my class can't help smiling whenever we
think about our English teacher.

Topic 9: Some people prefer to live in a country. Others prefer to
live in a city . Which place would you prefer to live in ? Use specific
reasons and details to support your answer.
Some people prefer living in a country , but I find that City life is more
convenient and comfortable than countrylife .Living in the city, poeple have

three advantages : education, health’s services and entertainments.
Firstly, living in a city, people will have a better education system than
the country. There are many famous schools and well – qualified teachers
that you can choose for your children to study . For example, a gifted school
will help your children develop their knowledge in a competitive environment.
In contrast, there are many limited schools in the country. The nearest school
may be far from your house .Moreover, they do not have enough modern and
essential facilities for teaching and experiments. City life always keep people
well-informed and updated sothat city-dweller have better background than
those in the country.


Secondly,in the city we have many good health’s services that you
cannot find in the country. There are a lot of hospitals in the city, and in an
urgent case , an ambulance can get you in a few minutes. In the county there
are only small hospitals. If you want to go to the hospitals, it can take you
many hours because of winding roads, long distance, and poor
transportations. The hospitals are usually lack of modern devices and
medicines. In addition, there are various kinds of health’s services in the city.
For example, you can easily find parlors to make you beautiful or massage
parlors( thẩm mỹ) to relax, etc, which are not popular in the country.
Thirdly,if we live in a city , we will have many good chances for jobs .
There are many big companies , international arganizations located in the city
.you will be easy to find a good job which gives you fairly high salary .
Finally, the city is really the center of entertainment. There are plenty of
live shows which offer many kinds of music: rock and roll, pop, jazz, etc. A
large number of cinemas , theaters,bars , restaurants are open very late in
the evening . In the city .You will have many opportunities to watch new films,
use brand new hi-tech devices or read a copy of famous novel such as Harry
Potter, Eragon, etc. If you are a connoisseur( sành điệu)/ interested in food,

you can go to luxurious restaurants and enjoy dishes from all over the world
or if you love parties, there are many overnight clubs for you and your friends
to get inebriated/ drunk.( say xĩn)
To sum up , City life may be noisy and cramped( chật hẹp) but it offers
great education, better health’s services and up- to- date entertainments,
which will certainly make your life convenient, exciting and interesting
.however we have to stdy and work hard or we will be left behind .

Nowadays, computers are an important part of most people’s
everyday lives. This change has improved the way people live.

The invention of computer opened a new era( thoidai) in the development of
human beings. This achievement also made it possible for many things that
were never done in the past. As soon as this powerful tool appeared, people
realized its benefits and used it as an important part of their lives. Thus, I
believe that computer has improved the way people live.
First of all, the invention of computer brings human beings a wonderful tool
to their everyday uses, especially in calculating and storing information. In
fact, computer can solve many calculations with accuracy and high speed that
hardly can anyone reach. Furthermore, people can record and save a lot of
information in a computer just by a mouse click instead of writing on papers
and storing them in draws with the worries that they would be damaged
someday. In fact, this change really improves our lives. It helps people save
more time to solve complicated work ,too.
Moreover, the advent (viec dan den ) of computer led to the appearance of a
wonderful tool. The Internet, thus makes everyone in anywhere on over the
world be able to contact and share information with each others. Actually,


most of people use Internet everyday and it is not stretch to say that Internet

is integral(canthiet) part of human life. People can read the latest news,
exploring beautiful scenes or lands which they do not have opportunities to
travel, selling or buying goods and products with Internet.
To sum up, I strongly think that computer plays a significant role in everyday
lives because all of the above reasons. Although many people complain about
some negative consequences of this tool such as spreading evil and sex webs
or attraction of many games, we can not deny the benefits that it brings to us.
The important thing is that how to use this tool for the best results.

My Best Friends
No one can live without friends and so do I. I am very lucky to have two best
friends who are very important to me, Thuy and Quynh Anh.We have been
friends for over 5 years. The longer I make friends with them, the more
differences I realize between them. They are totally different from each other
in appearance, characteristics and hobby.
Thuy is a short, small girl and her face is a little long with a wide
forehead.Thuy’s skin is rather black because she always play sports. Besides
that, Thuy possesses long straightened black hair.In contrast to Thuy, Quynh
Anh is taller than Thuy and Quynh Anh’s face is in oval shape with big eyes. In
addition, Quynh Anh’s short curly hair looks perfect with her white skin.
In characteristics, Thuy is a timid and passive girl.In class, she rarely raises
her hand to give her opinions or comment to others. She just studies and
doesn’t put questions during the classtime. However, Quynh Anh is very
active because she ofte takes proud in class activities, exchanges her ideas to
other classmate and builds the lessons. Although Thuy is not as active as
Quynh Anh, Thuy is more intelligent. She is excellent at mathematics, physics
and chermistry, but Quynh Anh is good at art.Now,Quynh Anh is studying at
University of Technical Education HCM, white Thuy is a student of University of
Technology.
Finally.they have no common in hobby, Thuy refers to read book at home than

going out for a drink like Quynh Anh.Thuy also spends time listening to music
or playing sports such at badminton, swimming. Unlike Thuy, Quynh Anh likes
chatting with friends instead of listening to music and she also shopping when
she have free time.
Although there are many differences between Thuy and Quynh Anh suchas
their appearance, characterictics and hobby, both of them are always my best
friends. I am proud of them and thanks God for bringing them to me.

Although many people prefer to live in a small town, I prefer to live in a big
city. City life is familiar to me since I was born and grew up in here. In
addition, it provides me with working and studying chances which is better
than in a small town. Life condition in a big city is also better than in a small
town.
To begin with, city life is familiar to me. I’ve been a city-dweller since I was
born. I went through my childhood, my school time and my adulthood in a big
city, therefore, the city life is more familiar to me than the life in small town.
My family, all of my relatives and my friends live here and I love to live here
and have them near by. Moreover, I like fast life style, which cant be found in
the small town.
In addition, living in a big city is better for studying and working. It’s
undeniable that prestiges universities, colleges with many fields are located in
the big city. It offers you variety chances of studying in a good university, in
the major you want. The choices will be limited if you live in a small town. And
when you want to find a job, it’s usual to go to the big city to do it. Big
companies with well paid job are in big cities. If you live in the small town and

move to a big city to study, or to find a job, you will encounter many
difficulties. Thus, it will be better to live in a big city.
Finally, city life is easier than life in a small town. System of transportation in
the big city is more diversed. While we hardly find a subway in the small town,
in the city there are many kind of transportation, such as taxi, bus, metro and
so on. Moreover, shopping system in a big city provides us a variety of
choices. When I once spent a holiday in a small town, I forget to bring along
my favourite chewing gum, I tried to find it in the only 2 supermarkets in the
town, but I couldn’t find out it. It was worse when I found out that I ran out of
my stomachache tablet, and I had to come back to the city because that kind
of table nowhere can be found in the small town.


1.How do movies or television influence people’s behaviour? Use
reasons and specific examples to support your answer.
There’s no doubt that television is a big influence on people’s behaviour.
Sometimes it influences in positive way, however, its influence is often
negative. It makes people to be more violent, do less activities and less
exercise their imagination.
Movies or programs on television make people more violent. They are now full
of violence. People watch them everyday and get more familiar with violence.
They would think that violence is not a big problem because in the movie, a
seriously injured man can recover incredibly fast. Even a died actor can come
back to life somehow, if he’s a main roll of the movies. All these factors can
make a fake sense to people, make them think that every scence in the
movies would be truth in the real life.
Moreover, TV cause people to be less avtive. The longer they stay in front of
the TV, the less chance they have to do some exercises. To some people, the
only exercise they do is coming back and forth between the TV and
refrigerator. They are fed up with out door activities and all what they want to

do is stay in and watch TV to relax. Needless to say how bad it is to people’s
health.
Last but not least, people is losing their imagination by watching TV.
Everything is shown clearly, they don’t have to imagine, such as how the how
the outter space looks like, how the magician do the magic and so on. It’s
such a disaster when people forget their imagination.
To sum up, Tv is a good way to relax, however, it does more harm than good
to people. It makes people more violent, less active and less imaginative/ hay
là imaginary
DESCRIBE MY LAST SUMMER HOLIDAY!
In our country, summer holiday is the longest holiday in a year. I often went to
sea with my family and my relatives every summer holidays. But last
summer, my parents allowed me go to sea with my friends. I had many
memories with my friends and it made impression on me.
The trip had seven people; four boys and three girls. We learnt primary school
together. So far we have been close friends. We spent three days on holiday.
On holiday, we only slept four hours a day and the rest time we went
swimming, went sightseeing
At the morning, we got up at half past four o’clock to see sunrise. It was very
peaceful and calm in early morning. After that we went swimming. In the
evening, we went along seaside. At that time the wave seemed gentler than it
was in the afternoon. The later it was, the more people the beach had.
Everybody looked happy. We took many photographs and had a lots of sea
foods. All of us were indeed happy.


At the last day, there was a small problem with me. I had stomachache.
Maybe I was not suitable with sea foods. Fortunately I bought medicine, so I
took a medicine and I was ok.
After three days, we came back home. I think it was great time in my life.

Energy sources such as solar power,wind power and wave power
have been criticised as being relatively ineffective and expensive to
implement, compared with fossil fuels such as coal and oil. Should
the development of these alternative sources of energy be
continued? Support your view.
Essay:
In Danang, a Vietnam city, some of ordinary light systems on the street have
been replaced by solar energy ones. It is said to be the suitable replacement
which can help city save money when the energy prices are going up. Despite
of the expend of implement , it is still being supported for a new saving
energy.
Energy can not be lacked in our life . Warming, burning , running motor car,
and producing in industry must use energy sources. More and more energy
are needed for the country ‘s development. And it is used so much that there
may be not energy to use any more . The alternative sources are resorted to.
They are supplementary for the fossil fuel .
Sometimes people criticse them as being ineffective and expensive . But
scientists have discoveried them and may be they think of this fact. If these
energy sources had been quite ineffective , they would have not been used
completely. Indeed, these sources will become very nescessary to us when
coal, oil and other energy sources are empty.
The scientic and technology will develop and they can make these sources
more effective and cheap to implement. I think that it is not so far to us.

We are paying for what we have done to environment , fast economic
development and human irresponsibility result in huge mountains of waste
everywhere in the world , causing negative effects for human life and
environment . In addition to such global problems as epidemic , the
greenhouse effect and war , waste is threatening our world .
Rubbish is everything which is no longer useful and needs disposing of

.Actually , everything we use can create various kinds of waste throughout its
lifecycle .There is waste associated with the extraction, harvesting,


manufacture or transport of materials, waste associated with using a product ,
for example , batteries from toys , oil from cars , water waste form households
. Today we do not just see them in rubbish bins , but on the streets , in
forests , even floating in rivers and oceans . Waste is a big problem for the
environment. We are producing more waste than ever before.
In the world that many irresponsible manufacturers ignored the law and
poured unprocessed chemical waste into lakes and rivers , polluted the water
source ,caused the mass death of marine animals and did great harms to
human health . Moreover , seas are almost full of garbage tonnes of which are
pushed downwards the bottom of oceans everyday instead of being recycled
or reused .This endangers the life of marine creatures because they can eat
these poisonous things and die . More seriously , many species can fall into
extinct situation .The danger to marine life has been known for decades, but
the scale of the problem has not been realised while the amount of diposed
waste is more and more increasing .
Most household waste ends up in landfill sites, rotting down to produce
methane which is a powerful 'greenhouse' gas and is linked to global climate
change ; it can also lead to explosions if the site is not properly managed.
Waste water can penetrate the ground and poison the water source that result
in dangers for everyone .The spaces for landfill sites are not endless , the
mountains of rubbish are increasingly high , furthermore , stench coming from
these places annoys residents around . Burning waste only solves this issue
radically, but leaves toxic ash that is very dangerous.
All around the world many countries reduce the use of landfills, increase
recycling, ban incineration and formally employ people currently to sort waste
at their homes . Recycling rebates pollution , saves energy and costs ; it also

slows down the rate at which non-renewable is used up . Recycling preserves
natural resources .One tonne of recycled newsprint is equivalent to almost a
dozen trees. Recycling saves energy . It requires 20-25 times more energy to
make new aluminium by melting bautixe than it melts and produces
aluminium from scrap. In addition , it can create thousands of employments
for many people and makes huge profits .
Japan was successful with efficient polices encouraging people to recycle their
household waste . It was incentive laws that changed Japanese’s habit of
waste disposal and transformed it into one of the most civilized countries .
The stores which collect used things , renew and repair them to sell at low
prices are very popular in Japan . Fujifilm is one of the leading enterprises in
making recyclable products friendly with environment . Singapore is a
successful example of protecting environment .It is famous for its clean
thanks to strict laws of government , so Singapore is known as the green
country .
We must take actions to save the environment , the simplest way to reduce
the amount of waste we produce is to avoid creating it in the first place .We
do not waste resources , we should recycle them . The future of the world
comes from our actions today .


My favorite leisure activity is reading. I read anywhere I can and whenever I’m free. I read many kinds
of books, example: newspapers, stories, novels, sciential books…etc.
Books help me to have more living experience, more knowledge of society,scienty, and environment . Have
you read book: ’Living art’-many authors? My friends and I are interested in it. It is an extremely meaning
book, reminds us to live because of every body and real happiness only comes when helping other people
be happy. Not only that but also it teaches us how to cross sadness, unsuccess and be always cheerful.
Stories and novels encourage me to imagine without inhibition about characters. Whereas, it isn’t the case
when watching films and television since all characters, situations, and scenes are fixed and set perfectly.
Specially, I enjoy imagining personalities, faces, and behaviours of characters; and usually fancy: I am living

in world which author creates, feel sad or fun as these facts happen to me. Two stories, I like most, are “PS I
love you’-Cecelia Ahern, and ‘Love story’ -W.Segal, they are moving stories about magnanimous love.
Besides, I read a lot of detective novels, such as: ‘The godfather’, ‘The Da Vinci code’- Dan Brown, ‘Shelock
Home’ –Conan Doyle...etc.
I read newspapers, magazines too. I often read Dantri, Vnexpress to update information; and a number of
magazines for teenager to relax, look at musical stars .
Finally, reading gets rich my soul, makes my life more pleasant and I learn much from it. Other my leisure
activity are listening to music, watching movies, playing game, going on a vacation, going shopping and
chatting.

My favourite leisure activity is reading. I like reading because it is a hobby
that is useful and interesting: useful because you can find a lot of knowledge
of all areas that you need; interesting because the books can give you the joy
and help you relax after a day of toil etc... Especially, when you join the
forum, you can meet a lot of people who have interests similar to yours,
comment on the books or novels that interest you.
I love books and also natural as reading books. At the age of ten, I was
awarded "The Scarlet Sails" of Alexandre Green by my grandfather. It is the
first of book that I have been. I read it does not know how many times (Up to
now, I still love it and occasionally read it again). My love for books begun.
I usually spend almost of free time in choosing the book with my friends,
participate in dicussion on the forum and reading (of course!). Every weekend
and all holidays when I have no work to do, I often read books and ruminate
on it. I also help some friends can select the genres of books that they like.
I always hope that I will have my own library in my future. I love books very
much and perhaps, I couldn't live without them.
The life is sometimes very tiring so I want the time to relax and take a
rest. One of my best favourite leisure activity is listening to music
Listening to music not only help me relax but also provide me with musical
knowledge. I like the time that I can lie lazily in bed, wear the small earphone

with my ipod and ẹnjoy any favourite song which belong to many kind of
music example: teenpop, rook, symphony,….etc. Ordinarily, I don’t turn on


volume so loudly and don’t listen to rook when my mother stays at home,
simplicity because she never like that. But when she isn’t there, it is no
problem. I can increase the volume maximally, listen any kind of music even
croon any song freely however not any comment. Oh that is very interesting.
I like symphony because it is very gentle. I can fall asleep easily while listen to
it. I don’t know about it much but I’m font of some classical works as: “swan
lake” – Tchaikovsky, “Fur Elisa” - Beethoven.
Some times I listen to rock when I feel sad and fretful as well as very cheerful
and happy. The rock band I like is Linkin Park with “In the end”; “What I’ve

All of them is a very important piece of my life. I think they help my soul more

If you ask me: “which one you prefer: living in the city or living in the
countryside?” the current answer is living in the city but it is only a current
answer. Living in the countryside isn’t always humdrum but I think living in
the city is much advantageous for my life and job. In my opinion when we are
still young we should live in the environment which provides us many
favourable conditions, opportunity as well as challenge. My childhood was
through a peaceful countryside, it is the funny time I never forget but when I

started going in to high school, I had to leave my hometown for Nam Dinh city
to learn. Although the fist time I missed my home very much, then I realized
that the new study context helped me develop my mind totally. I got to study
in an advanced environment with many good teachers and to get in touch
with many good friends. And now I think living in the city will help the young
people to become dynamic and have many chances in life, study as well as in

Nevertheless I don’t altogether like to live in the city because the life in a city

Last summer, I and my friends go to Vung Tau by motobike. we have two
interesting days in Vung Tau city. We start my trip on 6h AM. after 1 hour, We
get to Long Thanh stop stations. we have stopped there for 15 minutes anh
drink fresh cow's milk. Then we continue my trip to vung tau city. after 1 hour
we get vung tau city. many hotel and motel but we had to spend hard 1 hour
to look up a hotel for staying. the hotel which we stay is a small nice hotel,
from our hotel we can see the beach and it had a good view. Because we have
a long trip by motobike so that we are very tired. after check in we only want
to sleeping. I don't know, what do other peoples do but when I wake up and
walk to outside. I see my friends drinking coffee. at that 2 o'clock PM. we have
spent 2 hours for drinking coffee after that we go to the beach to swim. at the
evening, we have a round in vung tau by motobike. verybody want to see
vung tau by night until 10 o'clock we return back our hotel. and all night, we
play card togethe. on the morning tomorrow. we walk to the beach and swim
with the local peoples and anothe tourists. after that we go to coffee shop and
chat togethe. until 12 o'clock we have lunch and 3 o'clock we come back to
hcm city. we arrived hcm at 5 o'clock. we bye togethe. and end 2 interesting

which made me get lower mark. She also said (, "It is the cause. Maybe)
(that) I might see (saw) my friend's test and copied it. I was so angry
because I hadn't done like this yet (I said "No, I never copy other test") I
stared at her and told her I would never copy other's. She said (Maybe)
(you) I might discuss with (your) my classmate". Oh no, everyone, not only
me. I was so tetchy that I didn't say anymore. My teacher halved my result
and my friend's result. When I read my result, I read 3, but she wanted me
said the result in my test, and I perfervid. May be she was so angry too, she

minutes later, she cried and left my classroom.

I graduated from Nghia tan secondary school 3 months ago.Now,I'm a
new student of Yen Hoa high school.However,I never forget my old school
because I found my best friend of my life there.

When I was in grade 6 ,I didn't have a lot of friends.Nobody played with me ,

about me.SoTherefore, I was very lonely.Oneday, while I was sitting at the
corner of my class ,a strange girl came to me and told that she wanted me to

In my school life , I had a lot of unforgetable memories.The most
unforgetable memory I won't will never forget when i was in class 11. It was
one day near before tet holiday. After finishing maths class , I felt boring
bored and tired and I didn't want to study . Three of my friends and me
decided to drop class to go have breakfast. At that time, we were naughty

Who is your best friend? How did you first meet?
My best friend is is one of my schoolmates. His name is Phuoc Loc, and we
have known each other (we became best friend together) when we studied at
the university of technic and education HoChiMinh city, it was in 2002. . Our
friendship has begun since we studied at the ... in 2002.
If I were to describe how he looks, I would say he is easy of approach. ( Dùng
câu điều kiện ở đây là có ý gì vậy?) He has acurly hair, indulgent eyes and a
big nose ..He is tall and quite thick. He is a healthy person with showing
muscle. He like likes casual so I usually see him wearing jeans and a T-shirt.
It seems like to us that he and I are always talking or laughing about
something we always laugh about something which we talk together. He has
a very nice personality and a wonderful sense of humor but He can also get a
little depressed from time to time. I can always count on him to be honest
and to give me the best advice.
We are interested in many of the same hobbies. We both enjoy both playing


the football and listening to music. We like going to the coffee shop cafe or
and the restaurant. Sometimes we just walk around, trying to find a new
secondhand bookstore to explore and to and buy some books of us our major.
We both also like traveling, reading, and swimming. Sometimes during the
summer or us our vacations, we go with us to some famous places such as
VungTau, Dalat, Tay Ninh palace…etc. We usually spend most of the day free
times visiting or and exploring the area. In the evenings we might walk along
roads into town and to drink some thingsomething or stay at guest house and
watch television. Whatever we're doing, it's always fun to be with him. (câu

So I know I can rely on him. Even when our lives get busy we still make time

Topic 1: About trafic jam...
Nowadays, the appropriate authorities should have the possitive solutions to
the traffic jam in HN which is currently considered a burning issue.
First, the network of roads need to be improved better and better. For
example, we should construct more overpasses for the big vehicles and
underground trenches for the pedestrians by the hot spots of traffic jam.
The other solution is to raise the quality and quantity of the public transport
vehicles. Besides, in my point of view, the freedom from bus ticket fare is also
the remarkable solution. Therefore, this could make more and more the
citizens in HN use bus frequently.
In addtion, we should have the strict fine with people who commit the traffic
offences for instance, to go across the red light, to go back up the road or to
go over the speed limit.
The final solution, the appropriate authorities should set up the propagandas
to raise the sense of civic responsibilities. In my opinion, excuting the traffic
law is the best solution to solve the traffic jam in HN in these days.

believe that computers hasve improved the way people live.
First of all, the emergence of that so-called artificial intelligence brings human
beings a wonderful tool to their everyday uses work, especially in calculating
and storing information. In fact,a computer can solve many calculations with
accuracy and high speed that hardly can anyone reach. Furthermore, people
can record and save a lot of information in a computer just by a mouse click
instead of writing on papers and storing them in draws with the worries worry
that they would will be damaged someday. In fact, this change really
improves our lives. It helps people with saving time and strength for more
complicated work.
Moreover, the advent of computer led to the appearance of a wonderful toolthe Internet, thus which makes everyone in anywhere on people all over the

On 15th of Dec 2008, a new policy about wearing helmet for motobike
users has been applied alongside with the slogan :" Sit on a motobike with

your helmet then join in traffic." At first this widely caused frustration and
disappointment as many residents thought that the helmets were indeed
ugly, looked crude in any ways and disapprovingly out of fashion for peope to
wear on;many of them agreed that they were so disturbed and unbearably
not suitable with the humidity and hot weather in Vietnam.
However a month after this policy being issued, the problem has been
alleviated and people has eventually got adapted to it.
I think the policy is workable and extremely essential for our community as
wearing helmet helps protect our life and lessen the hazardous damage
striking into our body, particularly the head , whenever an accident occurs.
Most of nowadays youngsters who usually drive after getting blindly drunk
and hence can control neither themselves nor the speed they're travelling at
are involving in numberous severe accidents. Several of them has to be
hospitalised in a very terrible situation, in which they may give up their lives
or otherwise suffer miserable ones after reducing to vegetable existence due
to serious trauma caused in their brains during the accident.
That's why it's a must for every people to wear helmet while travelling by
motorbike.
In our country, summer holiday is the longest holiday in a year. I often
went to sea with my family and my relatives every summer holidays. But last
summer, my parents allowed me go to sea with my friends. I had many
memories with my friends and it made impression on me.
The trip had seven people; four boys and three girls. We learnt primary school
together. So far we have been close friends. We spent three days on holiday.
On holiday, we only slept four hours a day and the rest time we went

big breakfast.At 8 o'clock , I and my classmates attend in the English club of

topic.Afterthat , I have lunch with a little food and vegetable.Instead of
studying in the library , I have more time to take a rest ; I feel healthier after a

MY TEACHER
I have been being taught by many teachers so far and the teacher whom I
love very much is Mr Thành - a teacher of Physics. I'll tell you something
about him.
His full name is Lu Duy Thanh. I don't know how old he is but I think he is the


same age as my father-about 47 years old. He is very short with a short black
hair and his face is round with big eyes and dark complexion.

Everyday he goes to wort at Hoai An high school. He is a teacher of Physics
but he is good at all of subjects. Therefore, he not only teaches physics but
also gives us a lot of other knowledges. He often helps us to explain a lot of
matters in our life and shows us how to learn well.
his characters are sociable, generous and firm. However, he is a stern teacher.
He is always strict to lazy students and encourages poor students. Besides, he
often finds the new way teaching to improve the lazy students. He often says
to us that "your future will be built by yourselves, so you should try to learn
hard. That is necessary"
He is a wonderfull teacher. We love him a lot and promise ourselves to try our
best in learning. For me, I feel grateful to him very much. I will learn hard to
become a good student and my future will me built by myself.

Traffic accident is the worst disaster of human. Annually, it takes away the
lives of many many people all over the world, especially in VN, where the
sense of conforming to traffic laws is till very bad. The main transport in VN is
motocycle, so when an accident happens, the cause of the death is usually
brain injury. So, I think it is important and necessary for the motorists to wear
safety helmet while joinning traffic.
Facing with the traffic problems the Vietnamese Government promulgated a
resolution that everybody who joins traffic in both highways and streets has to
wear helmet.
As mentioned above, when going out, it is neccsary for the motorists to wear
helmet.I can say that helmet is a “replacement”. I suppose, if an accident
happens, motorist who does not wear helmet will fall down, perhaps his or her
head will hit against the road and hurt. Brain injury leads on many other
horrible consequences such as losing memory, being paralytic, mental illness
and even death. But if that motorist wears helmet, the melmet plays role as a
“body guard” of your head, it means the helmet will be “injured” instead of

your head. Hence, wearing helmet is very useful for our safety.


However, some people do not approve to wear helmet while going out by
motorcycle because they consider that wearing helmet is unpleasant,
unfashionable, uncommon, uncomfortable. But are pleasure, fashion, common
and comfort more important than our life?. When being a person with lost
memory, a mad a crazy person, a paralytic, a burden on our family and
society, do those reasons above still have significance ?. The answer is
certainly not. That is totally quibbling. Do not let such regretful things happen.
Besides, wearing helmet also shows that you are a law-abiding citizen
because that is a law and of course is compulsory.
Wearing helmet is not only your right and duty but also society’s benefit. The
less number of accident happens, the more our country developes. Being a

As far as I am concerned, television is a very important invention in the 20th
century. It influences people’s behavior much more than they often think.
Unfortunately, its effect on the public is usually negative. Television makes us
less active and many scenes on it are violent. Futhermore, television affects
our imagination significantly.
The first reason is that television makes people less active. We just have to sit
quietly and turn on the television. Then we switch around our favorite
channels. Except those little moves, no more activities have to be taken while
watching television. Also, television takes a lot of our time while we should
spend that time playing a sport or going for a walk.

In addition, television contains many violent scenes. But they seem to be not
so bad at all. Actors and actresses can be killed and come back after a few
days for another movie. As a result, people become less sensitive to crime
images. Sometimes people even confuse those scenes with reality by seeing
them too much.
Last but not least, television influences our imagination badly. When we read
a book or a novel, we have to imagine different times, different places and
different people. However, when we watch a film on television, sound and
images are presented right in front of our eyes. We don’t tend to use our

In conclusion, nowadays television still plays an important part in

Hi everybody! My name’s Trung.I’m a new member of Dethi.com.Now I

Here is my topic:
Nguyen Binh Khiem was my high-school ,it is located in Vinh Long province. I
studied there when I was ninth grade. After graduating secondary education,
you must take the exam and you can register to major in the subject at which
you are good .At that year I registered for math class. Luckily ! I passed
it.After the summer holiday, the school-year was coming.And perhaps I can’t
forget the first day when I went to class because many new people from some
areas in my hometown were in and they were good pupils.Although I have
studied there for a year but I felt be like a fish out of water.However
everything was OK after a few weeks.At tenth grade,we had a memorable
memory,it was the first time we had a camp overnight.All my class were

excited,so was I.We prepared many things such as:bamboo to build the
camp,foods,some games to play at night and specially my class had a special
food for eating and drinking, it was spring roll.According to me the time I was
most happy that all pupils gathered at the school-yard and ran around the
fire,we hold hand each other and ran and ran, it seemed that we didn’t fell
exhausted.At night all my class gather at sports ground to play games,after
that we exchanged the music with other camps.Since that time we have been
closed friends.The first school-year at high school ended and in our mind and
we had almost a strong impression.
Three months for summer holiday elapsed,the new school-year began,all of us
felt difficulty because this year we must take many important exams.Hence
we didn’t have much free time for camping trip,however after every
semester,we always went to one of my friend’s house to relax.Her house is
countryside,so we liked to go there to swim in the river,take bath under the
rain,and eat many fruits in the orchard.
And when we were twelfth grade, we had more pressure because this year we
had two important exams:high-school finals and the exam to university.So we
must try our best and studied hard,there were two missions we must fulfil in
this school-year.According to me the time elapsed quickly,we would separate
from my friends ,my teachers,and my school.whenever I thought about it,I felt


sad.And that day also came, this was the last morning, I and my class sat on
the chairs of the school.In the afternoon, my class gathered at my teacher’s
house for the party,we took many photographs to memorize.After that my
class turned back the school,we sat into the circle and talked about our happy
and sad ceremonies,the air was very quiet,I knew that everyone’s state of

other and cried.We wished we would pass the final exam so that we can met

complex and stressful. In my everyday experience and observation, I agree
with people who think that computers bring more benefits.
