I.Introduction:
I know that what you might be thinking you’ve been watching the news
or perhaps some documentaries that talk about how badly animal are treated in
confinement.I ‘d like you to rethink your judgment about zoos that you had
when wak through the door today.I am here to tell you that zoo serve important
purposes and are vital to the furture of the world animals as well as life of
people all over the world.
II.Body
The first, zoos save animals from extinction. Nowadays, human activities
have caused the problems that threaten wild animal population. People spread
the pesticides that cause the California Condors to almost disappear, we cut
down the forest for their needs. We have to kill the Rhinos for their horns.
Golobal warming is one of reasons decreasing species all over the world. In the
wild, many of these animals would die because of illness, hunting and
starvation. With mentioned problems, we have a question here is that which is
the ideal place for animals to live. Yes of course they are zoos, national park as
well as safari. we care for and breed animals that have been wiped out in the
wild or reduced to very small number. Zoos ,national parks helps animal to
avoid hunters and predators ,too. Moreover, they restore them to their ecosystem
and continue to monitor the population until they become stable. Without zoos
caring and breeding the endangered species of the black rhino, they wound have
been extinct long ago.

Economic benefits of Zoo
Have you ever been to the zoo? If so, you may have found yourself
wondering, “How do zoos make money?” Or maybe you’ve always been
curious about how zoos get their hands on the animals their collections contain.
Let’s take a closer look at the economics of zoos, how they make money and
what the future has in store for the zoo.
Zoos do more than just provide a place for animals to reside. They are a
place that provides jobs, creates tourism opportunities, and can even be an

economic nexus for a community.
For example: The Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle has an annual budget
that exceeds $36 million and they pay $17 million in wages annually. Another
$5.2 million is paid in outside vendor contracts. The zoo was established in
1898 and 70% of its revenues come from zoo visits and private contributions.

As employers and as visitor attractions, zoos have a significant economic
effect on the towns and cities they call home.
For example: A report by a professor at George Mason University found
that in 2013 alone, Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) accredited zoos
drew 164,626,321 visitors to U.S. zoos. AZA-member zoos in the States
employed 38,078 people.

In conclusion ( cai ni debate xong moi noi )
Saving animals means saving the furture. If you had chance to save an entire species from extinction
and accommodate people needs, would you turn your back and walk away.
