messages. They’ll use the language to write the telephone messages.

C. Materials: cards, poster, sheets of paper, OHP, an answering machine,
transparencies,
Work arrangements: Individuals, pairs, groups, T-WC
Anticipated problems: Students have never taken telephone messages
before.

Ask students to retell Bell’s
autobiography and his invention of
the telephone.
II. Checking the old lesson
