I.INTRODUCTION
Hello friends! As you know in Vietnam we have an ancient
holiday that is very important to everyone and that is Tet. It
takes place in the spring ,the best season of the year. Anyone
where the heading to their hometown. Road to busy people to
play Tet and back home. Where also appeared peach and apricot
flowers. Vietnamese at home or abroad carefully cook

traditional dishes to put on the home altar to worship their
ancestors during Tết. This is a holiday that everyone desires to
rest after a long year of work and spend time with their loved
ones.

1.Overview
 Time: The First day of January on the Lunar calender
 Place: every family in Viet Nam
 Meaning: Tet is national holiday among all Vietnamese,
each region and religion has its own customs

 Cooking special holiday food inculde Banh Trung, Banh
day, dried young bamboo soup,…
 Clean them house
 Visiting a person's house on the first day of the new year
 ancestor worship
 Wishing New Year's greetings
 Giving lucky money to children and elderly people

3.My feeling in Tet holiday
 Be happy because families get together to eat, drink and
celebrate

III. CONCLUSION
 Tet is the traditional value of Vietnam and an part of the life
of all Vietnamese people.
 In the busy life, Tet is chance for families and friends to
reunite and share all peaceful moments of life.
