#WEEK01 Topic: What is the most important thing in your life?

What's up everybody, well, today I want to talk to you about what is the most important thing in
my life. With me, the most important thing in my life is belief. No, belief is not enough, believe
in myself. I want to share with you about my story. Back into 2015, when I decided to leave the
foreign company to create Alibaba English Club. Well, everybody said that “I am so crazy”.
Well, and I talked back to them “ I am so crazy but I’m not stupid. And I believe that sometimes
in the future I will make Alibaba to be bigger and bigger. I’m not sure how far I can go but I
believe and with that belief can make me to keep up to try and work so hard everyday. And ten
point is max, zero is min. If you believe that you can’t get 5, you cannot get more than 5. You
can not. But if you believe that you can get more than 5, about 6, 7. you can get, sometimes,
more than 7. But if you believe that, for the rest of your life, you can get just 5, just 5, you can
get sometimes, ZERO. And you know what. I’ve heard a lot from the films and the novels, it said
that: Life is full of color, Life is full of love, Life is full of happiness. But with me, Life is full of
belief . Believe that you can, then you can. You know what: “ If you don’t love anyone, you will
never die, never, never, but if you dont’t drink something or eat something, you will die in 3
days. But if you don’t breath, you will die in 3 minutes. But if you lose the hope, the belief in
yourself, you will die immediately." And the last thing I want to talk to you is that: “ For the first
time we do something, we don’t need other people care much about it, we just care what to do?
what should to do? And after we make something done, we will make other people look back
and really think who you are." And today I want to give you a quote, one quote for my life: “If
you don’t believe in yourself , no one can believe in you. There is no one”. Thank you so much

YES, IF YOU CHANGE, EVERYTHING WILL CHANGE FOR YOU!
First of all, I want to share a story of mine , 4 years ago when I was at the first year student in the
university. I thought that at that time, that was the time for me to relax. Because I did finish in
my high school and I mainly focused on video games, girls, Facebook , all that stuff. And my

English was so bad and you know what: at that time I had a big dream in the future is that:
having a lot of money. That was I think so ridiculous and the funny thing is that I tried to flirt
some pretty girls in my university and they all said ‘’NO'' to me and I didn't know why and at
that time I have no friends, no relationships, no girls, no money and I did give up on everything.
And after that I started learning English, and after I can speak English, I can find a job. And after
two years working outside, I did open my own English club. I think that everything it could be
much more easy. You know: girls and relationships and friends and even money, you know? and


I want to tell you the truth, is that : 4 years ago and now everything is the same, my parents are
the same, my brothers my sisters are the same, my friends are the same. I mean everything is the
same, even the economy. But something has changed is myself, I changed. I get up early in the
morning, doing exercise and reading book and learning English and I tried so hard, and the thing
I want to talk to you guys here to day, is that in life : first we don’t need to find the good things,
no we don’t need. We need to be good first and after that everything good will come and say
hello to you . I mean in life, IF YOU CHANGE, EVERYTHING WILL CHANGE FOR YOU,
IF YOU GET BETTER, EVERYTHING WILL GET BETTER FOR YOU

#WEEK04: TODAY IS HARD, TOMORROW IS HARDER, BUT THE DAY AFTER

Today is hard, tomorrow is harder but the day after tomorrow is beautiful.
Today is hard, it means that today we have a lot of challenges. But tomorrow, what happen?
Tomorrow, there are many more. And that makes you down, down, and down. If you get down, i
think you can not survive. But if you can get over every single challenge, every single difficulty,
you can survive until the day after tomorrow. And after that, you can see the sunshine. And it’s
related to the way you learn English. Let’s see. Today you learn five new words, but if tomorrow
you learn three new words, i’m definitely sure that you will give up from the day after tomorrow.
But today you learn five new word, tomorrow you have to learn more than five, and then the day
after tomorrow you can survive and you can see a lot of challenges and a lot of opportunities.

I mean today we have one thousand people learn English. Tomorrow, you know what? Five
hundred people can learn English. But the day after tomorrow, only ten people can survive. I
want you to belong to those people, you have to belong to those ten people.
TODAY IS HARD, TOMORROW IS MUCH MORE HARDER, BUT THE DAY AFTER
TOMORROW IS BEAUTIFUL, and you don’t know what? MOST PEOPLE DIE
TOMORROW EVENING.
#WEEK05: WHAT SHOULD WE DO WHEN WE ARE LEARNING IN UNIVERSITY?

What's up everybody. Today, I want to share with you a story. Last year, when Mr. President of
United States- Mr. Obama, when he comes to VN, and there is a Vietnamese guy, he did ask him
one question is that "You're such a great leader and we are here today, we're also such great
leaders, but how can we be such a great like you?'. And Mr. president said that "When I was at
the university, I did concentrate on all the crazy stuff' and he didn't talk about it but I think that's
really crazy. And he advised other people that is ' when you are learning in the university, try to


focus, try to concentrate on something you care deeply about.' And today, I want to share with
you 4 things that I cared deeply about when I was at the university. The first thing I want you to
do is that learning English. And with me, lwarning English, it means you can easily talk to other
people, you can easily communicate with other people. Of course, in English. And with me, it
means that you can easily express yourself in English. And learning English, again, can change
your life. And the second thing is that I want you to make the plan, because when you get up in
the morning, you don't know what's next without plan. And with me, I set up a plan for myself
everyday. I get up in the morning and write everything down, everything important, and I stick it
on the wall. And I set up the reminders on my Iphone, and that makes me can manage my time
everyday. And the next one is that I want to try something, and make the mistakes because, you
know what, you can be more mature when you make the mistakes. And the last thing I want you
to do is that smile more and make friends. I want you to smile more because when you smile to
other people, you are happy. But, you know what, when they smile back to you, you will be
more happy. And I want you to make friends because you can not know the world if you don't

open your eyes and talk to other people. That's the last thing. And I want to say that Thank you
very much for being with me a half jouney of this challenge. And we have another half, right?

Well, a lot of people ask me: ''i give up on everything in the really short time, so how can i keep
up effort everyday?'' Well, today i will share with you some ways of mine to keep up and
maintain effort everyday.
First, you need to find idols in your life. Idols are the people who share with you some stories
and experience of them, who teach you what should to do to be really rich and to be successful in
this life. And you need to believe that it’s true for them, it’s true for you. Okey? And i enjoy
listening to a lot of English videos of Jack Ma, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Justin Bieber,
Taylor Swift. And that created a lot of effort for myself.
And the next one is: you need to read a lot of articles and newspapers of the people who are
really young, like you but they are really outstanding in our country, in Vietnam. And you need
to believe that, they can do that, i can do that, so you can do that as well. You need to strongly
believe in that. Okey?
And the next one is set up target for yourself. Target is something you need to take a pen and
write everything down, in every single week, in every single day
or even in every single hour or every single minute and you need to write along with that the
consequence: if you don’t do that, what happens? For example, if you don’t do that, you will die,
die, for example. Okey?
And the last one is: think about your parents. Your parents need to work really hard, need to try
really hard to earn money, to give you money. And you are spending their money right? and you


need to take responsibility for that. Isn’t it? And the only one thing, you and me, the only one
thing we can do is that just keeping trying, keep moving. Isn’t it? So what are you waiting for?

#WEEK09: ENGLISH IS JUST A PIECE OF CAKE!

A lot of people told me that English is really really hard. Because they spend such a long time on
learning that, but they can not do that. They think that learning English is just for the rocket
scientist people. Well, today i want to talk to you the truth is English is really simple. English is
just a piece of cake. So i will explain it. OK. So i’ve been through so many difficulties in my life,
and you know what? so many of that are really really tough. That could be much more tougher
than learning English. So i wanna talk to you: If you don’t dare to try to speak English. I think
you easily give up with the things outside you need to overcome. And i want you to finish
learning English as soon as you can when you’re learning in the University and after that, you
need to experience so many things outside. That is something i want you to do. A lot of people
told me that: Learning in the University is really busy. And they always feel really tired with
learning just in the University. And i, i hate it. I hate it. I think, my University, learning in the
University is easy, easy, is super easy. English is super easy. Everything is super easy. But the
things outside. I call that is life University is not easy, is really tough. And i think you don’t
understand what i’m talking about and you will get it after you graduate from the University,

#WEEK10: LEARNING ENGLISH CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

Learning English can change your life. Learning English can change your relationships, can
change your friends, can change your career, can change your everything. And learning English
can change my everything. Today I want you to know clearly about the last of the last purpose of
learning the language is that SPEAKING. A lot of people, they choose the way to learn English
or Chinese or blah blah blah blah because they want to get the best score, the high score in the
university or in the school. And a lot of people choose the way to learn the language just because
they want to get the certificate in IELTS or TOEIC or all that stuff. I think that’s crazy.
Learning the language, it means that you know the way how to communicate with other people,
you know the way how to talk to them, to protect your ideas and to debate with them. That is the
last of the last of the last purposes of learning the language is SPEAKING.
And a lot of people told me, a lot of people told me is “You don’t have any jobs, you’re just

English teacher. I don’t like it. So how you feel about that?”. I feel happy about that. I am an
English teacher but I feel happy everyday because I make other people feel happy, I make other
people, they can speak English, sometimes much better than me. And they feel happy, I feel


much more happy than them. That is the last of the last purpose of me. That is my purpose in
learning English. Okey?
