The information technology application in business governance and operational activities in
the manufacturing business in general business and a separate room (department) in
particular of company is essential, it plays an important role in reducing costs, increasing
profits for businesses. Currently deploying e-Commerce (E-commerce) is still limited in
business of Vietnam: security, safety, reliability, ... leading to many new application; Can
we just say IT application development in recent years, but I think this is when we need to
push hard, fast and TT IT application in the industry and the agency state to be able to
integrate seamlessly into the world economy (Vietnam was the 150th member of the WTO
since 2007).
To apply IT to the Department where I managed, I am pleased to introduce plan for IT &
Media applications to improve the operational efficiency of the department in the period 05
year from 2014 to 2019 and action programs in 01 years from 06/2014 to 06/2015.
1. INTRODUCE ABOUT CORPORATION NAM CUONG HA NOI JSC (NAM

After more than 27 years of formation and development, Nam Cuong Ha Noi Corporation
has achieved constant development.


Spring in 1984, the first original name is Xuan Thuy combination of transport services,
activities in the field of business and inland waterway transport of fertilizers, cement, steel
demand to serve the northern provinces – Viet Nam.
After 10 years operation, Xuan Thuy combination of transport services was renamed Nam
Cuong.., Ltd in 1994.
In 1996, company was renamed Nam Cuong Trade and Tourism .., Ltd
In 1998 company was renamed Nam Cuong Trade and Tourism company.
From 2001, Nam Cuong Trade and Tourism company increase its charter capital to VND
1,111 billion and operates under license number 07020000148 was issued by the
Department of Planning and Investment Nam Dinh Province.
January, 25th, 01, 2008 had officially renamed Nam Cuong Coporation.

1. The current IT systems:
Hardware:
- The system provides Internet connection: 1 way ADSL high-speed, wireless transmitter;
- Internal LAN System: The coporation has one server in the computer room floor technical
center, conditioned, UPS backup;
- The computer system: Department has been equipped with the company desktop
configuration is relatively high for each employee (excluding portable laptop computers

individual);
- Scan: 02sets, photocopy: 01set, projectors: 02 sets, Handheld Camera: 02sets, Digital
camera: 02sets;

Software:
- The Group has an official website: www.namcuong.com.vn
- Departments have system software estimates Acitt, Delta estimates, Acad graphics
software, Sap structural properties, Sumac and HS leveling properties;
Internet and update the data and information to departments in the company, the PMU,
branches, representative offices, the company members, partners...
HR:
- The Group has 01 completely private Communications Department (Communications
Board has 01 IT department consists of 10 people) specializing in IT management but not
deep and often in the upgrading and repair system;
2. Evaluation
Current information technology systems of the Board of Assessment Group has been
equipped with relatively basic hardware, software essential, however there are
disadvantages as below:
+ LAN frequent crashes due to overload;
+ Internet connection is too slow at times, is not as desired, especially when downloading
data to work;
+ The use, reference, reference data, data communication is in trouble.
+ Data on the public information projects often stored mainly on paper, Excel
or regular Word, PDF file;
+ Increase the storage cost profile writing: paper costs, printing costs, the cost of buying
cabinets, bins respect to filing, records …

III. EVALUATION AND COMPARISON WITH COMPETITORS:
In Vietnam, Nam Cuong Ha Noi Corporation There are many real estate projects are
developed and implemented as soon: Completing a 4-star hotel in Nam Dinh City, Resort
Do Son in Hai Phong, Luxury resort in Phu Quoc Island, 5 Star hotels and hospitals
International at trade in Urban Area – Ha Dong District - Hanoi and many other real estate
projects …
So that, investment an information technology solutions that can help overall for the
effective management of business of the Group to achieve the highest efficiency is
essential.
If talking about the Real Estate business sectors and Hotel, have many competitors
including domestic and foreign. Each Group, Multinational company has a technology
solution for job applications and manage private operators. For example, three strong
competitors in countries that Nam Cuong Coporation can compare like: Hoang Anh Gia Lai
Coporation, Vingroup, Bitexco…

Conclusion: Looking at the above analysis can be seen when comparing “4 big
competitors” in real estate and hotel business in Vietnam, applying IT and e-commerce has
been widely deployed. Nam Cuong Ha Noi Coporation is the weakest remains.
IV. SWOT ANALYSIS:
1. Strengths:

- Nam Cuong Corporation is a big business in the field of real estate and hotel business in
Vietnam, has 05 branches and 10 corporate members;
- Coporation has a staff of qualified staff, capacity, age of young, passionate trained at
leading universities in the country and abroad.
- In 2014 have many corporation, Real estate companies are eyeing up Cambodian shores
bankruptcy or converted to other areas of business, but Nam Cuong corporation still
standing in the market and are launching multiple real estate products have good quality,
meet progress handover to the customer.
- Especially in evaluation boards: most employees are young average age is under 32 years
old and graduated from the State University of Information Technology for industry and
construction such as the University of Technology, Building, Communication&
Transportation, Architecture…
2. Weakness:
- The department has not yet familiar with the use of information technology systems and ecommerce.
- Previously coporation has only accustomed in business areas and real estate development,
traffic building, civil construction, hotel business, not involved in the new areas are

developed as: hospitals, schools learning, mineral water production ... so is a big challenge
for most Coporationg reins in equipping IT systems and e-commerce.
3. Opportunities:
- Potential current group may allow investors to build and upgrade the system in accordance
with the sustainable development of the Group;
- The provider of software application systems of Vietnam now has to keep the world and
many of the world's suppliers were present in Vietnam.
4. Threaten:
- During the upgrade investment, all officials and employees of the Group will have to take
the time to get familiar with the system. This can affect the production process and existing
business work habits of employees. It is possible to change the process if necessary.

V. APPLICATIONS SOLUTIONS IT&& PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS FOR
APPRAISAL DEPARTMENT:
1. Storage Technology:
- Along with the development of IT and the explosion of data, one needs to appear as the
preservation and storage of data safely and efficiently. Therefore, the data storage solution
modern was born to meet the needs of users.
- Due to the increasing amount of data constantly, increasingly high requirements on access
performance, stability and availability of data; storage has become very important. - Data
storage is no longer a simple device provides high capacity storage that also includes the
ability to manage, share and backup and data recovery in all cases.
- To store the data we can use many different devices, many different technologies. The data
warehouse can be used hard disk, used magnetic tape, optical disc ... Depending on the
specific requirements of problem that selecting technologies and devices accordingly.
According storage mechanism, there are now some kinds of underlying data store as:
+ DAS (Direct Attached Storage): data storage across devices attached directly
+ NAS (Network Attached Storage): Data storage on storage devices via IP network
+ SAN (Storage Area Network): data storage through its dedicated network storage.
Each type of data storage has advantages and disadvantages but is used for certain purposes.
Below is the data storage model general.
 Traditional storage solutions - DAS

+ DAS (Direct attached storage) the storage mechanism for devices attached directly to the
server.
+ This is considered a traditional storage technologies are now used more. With the DAS
mechanism, each server will have storage system and storage management software
separately.
+ Advantages of DAS is solutions the ability easy installation, low cost, high performance.

+ Dis advantage of DAS is the downside of limited scalability. DAS fact work very well
with a server but the data increases, the number of increases servers will also create the
distributed data and interruption. When, the administrator will have to reset or additional
storage and maintenance work must be performed on each server. That will increase the
overall cost of storage for the business and will become more difficult when you want to
back up or protect a system repository data is scattered and dispersed so.
 Solution NAS storage technology
+ NAS (Network Attached Storage) method is used to store data storage devices attached
directly to specific LAN as a normal network device (similar to a computer, switch or
router). NAS devices also are assigned a fixed IP address and user access through the
control of the server. In some cases, the NAS can be accessed directly without the
management server.
In the multi-operating system environment with many different servers, data storage,
backup and data recovery, application management and security policies are done focus.
+ The advantages of NAS: scalability: when users need more storage space, the new NAS
storage devices can be added and installed in the network.
NAS provide enhanced capabilities for network against her. In environment of DAS when
servering a data that doesn’t work then all that data not be use in NAS environments, so
data can be fully accessed by users. Measures against error and advanced redundancy are
applied to ensure NAS is always ready to provide data to users.
+ The disadvantage of NAS: With the use of common infrastructure with other applications,
the stored data can affect the overall system performance (slow speed of the LAN), this is
particularly interested in the need to store often a large amounts of data. In the environment
of database systems, the NAS is not a good solution because the system database
administrator usually stores data in the form of blocks, not to use as a NAS file will not give
good performance.

 SAN solution

+ SAN (Storage Area Network) is a private high-speed network for data transmission
between servers involved in storage systems as well as between the storage devices
together. SAN implementation allows centralized management and provides the ability to
share data and storage resources. Most current network-based SAN fiber channel
technology, providing users with scalability, performance and high availability.
Production system is divided into two levels: physical and logical

SAN.

EVALUATION ABOUT STORAGE SOLUTIONS
+ Advantages of DAS solutions is the ability easy installation, low cost, high performance.
Disadvantage of DAS scalability is limited when data increases the number of servers
required also increases. This will create the distributed data, interruption and difficulty as
well as protected backup storage system.
+ NAS and SAN solution address the limitations of DAS. With this type of storage NAS
and SAN, storage is separated from the server, network integration, creating a wide area
access to the server, users and applications accessing and exchanging. It creates a more
flexible and dynamic. The management and data protection will become simple, convenient
level will be higher the overall cost will be smaller. NAS is suitable for environment file
sharing but environmental restrictions in the system database. Moreover, with the use of
common infrastructure with other applications, NAS slow speed network access and
influence the performance of the whole system.
+ SAN network storage solutions solve the limitations of NAS and especially suitable for
applications that need high speed with minimal delay. Moreover, the available capacity to
respond quickly to changing operational requirements of an organization as well as the
technical requirements of the network system SAN downside is the cost of the initial
investment is higher than both DAS and NAS solutions.

2. Job Management Software:
Until now, job management in all business units of work management issues is urgent

CONCLUSION
Information Technology is the application technology management and information
processing. Speed stormy development of technology for the transfer of information
becomes extremely fast and the role of information is becoming increasingly important.
These new possibilities and advantages of this Vietnamese IT has rapidly changed the way
of living, working, learning, thinking, and more importantly how human decision making.

Due to the growth and characteristics of IT that has had a tremendous impact and
comprehensive to human society, and obviously also strong direct impact to business.
Above is the report of appraisal department assessment of the actual situation and plans to
deploy application of information technology to improve work efficiency, accelerate the
implementation and withdrew more time in the work of the Board, the content in this report
not to mention detailed implementation plan and contingency plan risk. The omission part
will be added when the Group to conduct direct deployment.
