PESTS CONTROL
PURPOSE AND REQUIREMENTS:
Must prevent and effectively exterminator pests (insects, rodents ...)
II. CURRENT COMPANY’S CONDITION:
- The factory which is surrounding by high walls, adjoins residential areas and
gardens.
- Prevention System:
+ The factory’s systems of sluice gates and drainage ditches are covered by
meshes to block rats’ penetration points.
+ Doors and windows in each areas of factory have been always kept closed
and covered by blinds.
- Extermination System:
+ Rodents trap system.
+ Weekly spraying with insecticides and cleaning around the factory.
III. REQUIRED PROCEDURES:
3.1 System maintenance
Regular system inspection and maintenance to prevent pest intrusion: Fencing,
doors, windows, raw materials entry doors, curtains, manhole covers, hatches
sewer...
3.2 Remove the Enticement place
- The waste containers are always covered by lids.
- The manholes, drainage ditches in the factory must be cleaned at the end of
day
- The broken (damaged) production tools, equipment, machines must not be
placed in the factory or surrounding areas.
- Keep the surrounding environment of the factory clean to eliminate the
breeding ground of pests.
*. Frequency: once per week.
*. Follow the contents of Section 3.3.8 SSOP1.4.
- Do not allow cattle and poultry get in the factory.
3.3 Pest Extermination Plan:

- Extermination plan:
+ Planning to set rodents traps and trapped rodents treatments follow KH08 SSOP1.
+ Planning to spray insecticides, follow KH08 - SSOP1.
- Where to place traps:
+ Placing traps follows SD04 - SSOP1.
IV. MONITORING AND RESPONSIBILITY ASSIGNMENT:

4.1 Monitoring:
- QC has been assigned the responsibility to supervise and inspect the
implementation of this Guideline.
- Mechanical Engineering Department maintains and repairs: rodents traps,
sprayers, manhole covers, hatches sewer, doors, doors’ curtains...
4.2 Responsibilities Assignment:
- Director implements and maintains these rules.
- Division of Engineering & Quality Management plans the pests control
programs and proposes to General Director of the Company for approval.
- Pesticide Team and Operation Team comply with these rules.
