1. You are studying English at a private language school attend by many
international students. You are planning a surprise birthday party for a friend
who has been feeling particularly sad and homesick. Write to another classmate
and invite him/ her to the party. In your letter:
- Explain the reason for the party
- Give the date and time of the party
- Suggest what the classmate could bring to the party.
2. You are planning a holiday in another country. Write a letter asking your friend
to join and explain. In your letter:
- Why are you taking a holiday?
- What is your holiday plan?
- Why would you like him/her to come?
3. Write a letter to a friend inviting him/ her to spend summer vacation with you.
In your letter:
- When/ Time
- Suggest where you and your friend want to do
- Say how long and your friend want to spend the vacation
