age. Because of
these values, and her
personal focus on
entrepreneurship,
Chealse has achieved
goals beyond her
wildest expectations.
Chealse has been on
international runways and red carpets, printed in the
pages of prestigious
fashion magazines,
on – screen for major
music videos and
much more! Besides
Chealse’s budding
modelling career,
as a graduate from
Durham College for
Print and Broadcast
Journalism, Chealse
hopes to one day

achieve a career
in television. Still
Chealse’s ambition
has brought other
notable successes,
including her current position as co
- founder of Haute
Agency, a boutique
model and talent
agency based in
Toronto which was
launched in 2014.
Though Chealse’s
journey has only

healse Sophia Howell certainly
isn’t your average 27 – year old.
Coming from a small town family of six siblings, hard work and
ambition was instilled in Chealse at a young
age. Because of these values, and her personal focus on entrepreneurship, Chealse has
achieved goals beyond her wildest expectations.
Chealse has been on international runways
and red carpets, printed in the pages of prestigious fashion magazines, on – screen for
major music videos and much more! Besides Chealse’s budding modelling career, as
a graduate from Durham College for Print
and Broadcast Journalism, Chealse hopes to
one day achieve a career in television.
Still Chealse’s ambition has brought other notable successes, including her current
position as co - founder of Haute Agency,

a boutique model and talent agency based
in Toronto which was launched in 2014.
Though Chealse’s journey has only begun,
one thing in her future is certain; if Chealse
can dream it, she will achieve it!
Who inspires you and why?
Every boss woman, working hard to make
their dreams a reality, really inspires me.
Do you have a charitable cause you care
about?
I don’t have specificcharity I always go to.
But I love helping and volunteering my time
anyway I can, when it comes to the elderly
and animals.
I worked at a nursing home for over 5 years
before becoming a model, and the things
some of the elderly go through is morally
unethical. I am also a huge animal lover and
love to volunteer my time at my local animal
shelter. In the future I would love to assist
on rescue missions, saving dogs from puppy
mills.

Do you prefer selfies or camera shots and
why?
I have never really been a selfie girl, I find I
am always too hard on myself and I am never happy with the selfies I take. So, I 100%
prefer camera shots.
What do you think is wrong with the
world?

The idea that only some lives matter, is the
root cause of all that is wrong with the world.
What’s right in the world?
Anyone trying to make a difference is the
right in this world. Whether it be a small
jester that helps someone make it through
a tough day, or something big you are able
to do that will forever change or impact the
world we live in for the better.
Who is your favorite role model and why?
Again I really look up to women who take
charge of their own lives, by working hard
to make their dreams and goals come true.
Do you have a favorite number?
My go to number has always been 4.
Do you care at all about Astrology?
I do, I find it very interesting, at a young age
Iwas always reading my daily horoscope, and
getting my future read through tarot cards.
Thoughts on city life versus country life?
Country life is 100% the way to grow up,
but the city life is where you’re going to find
who you are and build a career (from my
personal experience).
Where will you be in exactly one year from
this moment?
Continuing to hustle and build my Haute
Agency empire.
What would you wear on the perfect date?
Well this depends on which version of my

perfect date were on. I have two visions of a
perfect date. One where I am taken out for
the night of my life… which in that case I
would rock my Louboutin’s with a very fashionable dress. But if were staying in binge

watching my favorite movies (which is also a
perfect date for me) I would wear a cute little
track suit that is also extremely comfy.
One thing you’d change, if you ruled the
world?
If I ruled the world, no one would ever go
hungry. We have more than enough food to
go around, and it just makes me sick to my
stomach to think about how many people
are starving to death, while others are literally throwing food in the trash.
My story in less than 5 minutes...
I grew up in a small town with a big family
of 6 kids! I was taught at a very young age to
dream, believe and achieve, and that is exactly what I have been doing since I was 12
years old threw my entrepreneurship.
If your life was made into a movie, who
would play your part and which actor
would you want to be your leading man?
This is an easy one, I would want Jennifer
Lawrence to play my role, although I don’t
personally know her.
I see a lot of myself in her and feel she would
execute my role perfectly. My leading man
would be Ben Affleck when in his prime.

PREPARE FOR
MEGACON
2019

O

ver the years, MegaCon organizers have given us a chance to
meet our heroes, showcase our
cosplay talents, buy some souvenirs - for those who collect items each year,
meet new people, and so many other things.
While this year was fun, it also provided us
with a chance to evaluate our options so as
to be more prepared come 2019. MegaCon
2018 had prepared some good surprises for
us including taking a tour of the Jurassic Park

and the harry potter escape room. We got
to meet wonder woman and other celebrities that we have been dying to take pictures
with. This was the good side of MegaCon
2018. On the other hand, you will have to
agree that even though the lineups were fast
and orderly, we still got anxious and tired.
In addition, some MegaCon vendors closed
early and we never got a chance to purchase
some of the sci-fi merchandise we would
have wanted. That said it is time to prepare
for the next years event, which by the way
will be from May 16th to May 19th. Some
of you may have been disappointed by this
year’s event while other wished it could have
lasted a little longer. Regardless of where
you fall in those categories; here is why you
should make plans before the D-day for
MegaCon’s kick off;
1. So much has happened so far
It is to be expected that the trends, comic and movie releases will inspire the next
event. For 2019, it’s hard not to want to be
there. After all, the likes of Aquaman and the
much-awaited avenger’s endgame will have
been released. Also, we hope that we will get
to honor one of the greats in the comic business; Stan Lee. On a lighter note, there is
more to expect in next year’s event and to be
part of the experience without feeling inconvenienced, you will have start early preparation.
2. The tickets are ready and plenty
Again, no one likes to wait in lines. To some
extent, it is unavoidable especially due to

the large numbers of fans who gather for the
event. However, only the last minute kind
get to wait in lines. Already the ticket sales
have begun and it is time you got yours.
Whether you are planning to take your
family or going alone, get to the MegaCon’s
website and secure your ticket. An advantage
of doing this is that as the day nears, you
will be relaxed and will have no worries how
you are going to fulfill your promise to your
friend or family.

3. The guest list
MegaCon is the place to be to have a oneon-one interaction with celebrities. You
also get a chance to ask some questions to
know more about your favorite series and
comics. Following that logic, it is important
to get your points ready in case you get to
meet them. You do not want to regret that
you never asked the one question that has
always been in your mind. MegaCon 2019
guest list is yet to be unveiled but hopefully,
it will be as good as this year’s. But when has
MegaCon ever failed us when it comes to the
guest list? The diversity in the list is also the
more the reason you should be excited to go.
Who knows which Youtubers will be invited
in 2019.

4. It is fun at a cost
Though not a big deal so long as one gets to
enjoy the four days to the fullest, you still
have to have your financials in order. You
will spend quite a lot particularly if you take
your kids to the event. And that is not to
say that for those who go solo are better off.
No. MegaCon has so many things from the
comics to the movies figures that you will
be attracted to buy. Do not allow yourself

to get out of the event empty handed only
with the memory. Load up now so that we
will get to see what we missed in whatever
your purchase.
5. The large numbers attending
Fans from all over crowd the town of Orlando all seeking to have a good time. This
presents an issue for those who want to be
part of the whole convention. Booking hotel
rooms early enough will ensure that you get
the most out of MegaCon. Booking early
means that you will enjoy discounted prices
as well, before the hotels start taking advantage of the last minute planners.
6. Prepare to be the most outstanding
Cosplayers make MegaCon a colorful event.
People get to dresses as their favorite superheroes, villains and other characters. It is
one of the many reasons why we go to the
convention. Therefore if you are planning
to wear a costume, be sure that you will be
in the spotlight. So you have to spend some
money and dedicate your time to search for
a costume that will make the headlines. You
might also want to improvise. The design you
choose should be shouting and appropriate
for the event as well. Besides the above, there
is also some aspects of the convention that
you have to be prepared for. The food served
there and if you will be a vendor on that day,
make the necessary arrangements to gain a
spot to showcase what you have.
As we near a conclusion, it is important to

note that MegaCon has made changes to accommodate everyone including people with
disability. They too deserve to join in on the
fun. That means you can bring your friend
and let them have the time of their lives for
the four days. The convention is free of judgment and discrimination. As MegaCon prepares to host you, so should you. Mark the
date and clear your schedule for those days
so that you do not miss out on the fun. 2019
will be a blast and we are eagerly waiting for
what the New Year will drag into MegaCon
2019.
