- Improve ss’ speaking skill

"In today’s speaking section, you will practice
Talking about school life.
II. PRESENTATION ( 35 min.)
1. Pre-speaking:
- Ask Ss to study the requirement in Task 1.
- Have ss read all the questions in chorus
- Ask ss to read through the interview then find out
the new words
- Help Ss with the vocabulary and pronunciation
- Elicit some useful expressions:
- Listen, discuss, answer and copy
- Go to the board to match
- Give answers

Task 1
- Complete the interview in pair in 5 minutes
- Go round and provide help
- Check ss’ feedbacks and correct
- Have ss practise the interview in pairs
- Correct ss’ pronunciation
2. While – speaking
Task 2:
- Ask ss to make the interview in pairs in 5 minutes.
- Asks Ss to practice "ASK and ANSWER" about
their school life.
- Suggest ss using their own information
- Move round to make sure that all students are
working and to help them if necessary.
- Ask some students to report and give feedback.
- Correct the students’ work and give remark.
3. Post – speaking:
Task 3:
- Ask ss to read the example
- Have ss to tell other ss about what they know
about their partner in groups of 4 in 4 minutes

- Call some ss to tell the whole class about their
partner
- Ask other ss to give comment
- Give corrections and comments
III. CONSOLIDATION & HOMEWORK (3')
-Write a short paragraph about their school life
- Prepare for part C - LISTENING
- Listen. - Read in pairs - Group works.
- Work in pairs
- Give feedbacks
- Practise reading the interview in pairs
