NGỮ PHÁP THÔNG DỤNG CHO IELTS WRITING
1. Subject + Verb/(to be) + too + adjective/adverb + (for someone) + to do
something: quá dễ cho ai đó để làm gì
Ex: The final exam is too easy for me to get an A+ grade.
2. Subject 1 + Verb/(to be) + so + adjective/adverb + that + Subject 2 +
Verb: quá … đến nỗi mà
Ex: This dress is so expensive that everyone wants to own it.
3. It + (to be) + such + (a/an) +Noun(s) + that + Subject + Verb: Nó là cái gì
đó thật… mà …
Ex: It is such an interesting show that I cannot shut it down.
4. Subject + Verb + adjective/adverb + enough + (for someone) + to do
something: đủ … cho ai đó để làm gì
Ex: He is old enough to take a driver's license
5. Have/get + something + Verb past participle: nhờ ai đó làm gì
Ex: I have my fridge repairded
6. It + be + time + Subject + Verb past tense ( It’s + time + for someone + to
do something ): Đã đến lúc phải làm gì đó
Ex: It is time you went to bed
7. It + takes/took+ someone + amount of time + to do something: ai đó tốn
bao nhiêu thời gian để làm gì đó
Ex: It took me two hours to finish my homework.
8. To prevent/stop + someone/something + From + Verb -ing: ngăn ai làm gì
Ex: I can’t prevent them from cutting that tree.


9. Subject + find+ it+ adj to do something: Ai nhận ra nó thì…để làm gì
Ex: She finds it very healthy to do exercise every early morning.
10. Subject + prefer + Noun/ Verb-ing + to + Noun/ Verb-ing:
ai thích …hơn là …
Ex: I prefer watching movie at cinema to watching at home.
11. Subject + would rather + Verb (infinitive) + than + Verb

(infinitive): thích hơn
Ex:Jack would rather cook by himself than go to restaurant.
12. To be/get Used to + V-ing: quen với
Ex:She is used to waking up early every Sunday.
13. Used to + V (infinitive) : đã từng
Ex:I used to go to library when I was high school student.
14. To be amazed at = to be surprised at + Noun/V-ing: ngạc nhiên, bất ngờ
Ex:We were greatly surprised at the news
15. To be angry at + Noun/Verb-ing:tức giận, giận dữ
Ex:My father was angry at this story
