2.Activity 1: Look, listen and repeat.
2.1.Pre:
- Ask Ps to open their book page 6. Get
them to look at the title of the unit and the
four pictures to identify the characters in

- T sets the context by saying: Tom is late
for breakfast. Mrs Green is coming to his
bedroom.
- Point to each picture and elicit Ps’ answers
to what is happening in the picture
*Pre teach vocabulary: What’s the matter,
headache, temperature, take.
- T reads these words two times then ask Ps
to listen and repeat. Divide class in two two
groups, one group read aloud and the other
listen then give comment. Then swap their
roles.
- Call on some volunteers to read in front of
the class.
2.2.While:
- Play the recording through for Ps listen the
first time.
- Play the recording again for Ps to listen
and repeat. Pause after each line for them to
repeat a few times.
