1. Warm up.

- Play the game Jumbled letters, using
the words indicating means of
transport they have learnt previously
such as car, bus, bike, plane, boat,
ship.
2. Look, listen and repeat.
- Ask Ss to open their Ss’ book on p54
and get them to read the title and
observe the pictures to identify the
characters.
- Set the context: Tony is meeting
Nam at schol after Tet. You are going
to listen to their dialogue about the
trips to their hometown.
- Pre - teach vocabulary: hometown,
province, coach, far.
- Write the vocabulary on board then
ask Ps to repeat a fewtime.
- Play the recording through for Ps
listen the first time.
- Play the recording again for Ps to
listen and repeat. pause after each
line for them to repeat a few times.
- Divide the class into groups to take
