III) Tea and Coffee
1) Do people in your country like drinking tea or coffee?

3) If a guest visits your house, will you offer them coffee or tea?

PART 2

You should say:

1) What kind of house do you live in?
_ a small house in District 1 with my family
_ I have lived there for 10 years
2) What do you like about your house?
_ location: near my workplace, takes 10 mins to get there, rarely get stuck in traffic jams
_ big garden where I often do exercise every morning
3) Can you describe your house?
_ 3-story house with a big front yard
_ 4 bedrooms, a kitchen, a fully furnished living room

II) Scenery
1) Is there any place in your hometown that has nice views?
_ No. HCMC is occupied with high-rise buildings and modern facilities
_ highly recommend Danang and Nha Trang
2) Do you want to stay in a hotel room that has a good view?

_ Yes. Willing to pay extra money to stay in a room that has a good view.
3) Do you often take pictures of good views?
_ Yes. Post them on social networking sites such as Facebook and Instagram.

III) Tea and Coffee
1) Do people in your country like drinking tea or coffee?
_ Coffee is more popular. Coffee culture is developed. Elderly people usually drink tea.
2) When was the last time you drank tea?
_ Tea lover. Drink tea every day.
_ So the last time I drank tea was just yesterday. At a tea house in District 1.
3) If a guest visits your house, will you offer them coffee or tea?
_ Ask them whether they like tea or coffee first and then serve them.

PART 2
Describe one of the family members you spend time with.
You should say:

what you usually do together

ORGANIZING YOUR ANSWER
1. Brief intro: Who he/she is
Talking about a person

+ Personality: nice, friendly, young, old
+ Appearance: chubby, slim, hairstyle, dressing style
Example 1: He used to be overweight as he consumed a lot of fast food on a frequent basis, but after 5 years of working
out at the gym, he’s slim now.
Example 2: My father has a fashionable hairstyle that words alone cannot describe how cool it is.
Example 3: My brother often shows himself in casual clothing, except for some formal occasions like his ex-girlfriend’s
wedding.
2. “what you usually do together”
_ Activities: having meals, going to the cinema, singing, playing sports, etc.
*Remember to give reasons
3. “why you spend the most time with him/her”
_ You can talk about his/her good personalities

PART 3
1) Do people in your country live in a big or small family nowadays?
Past: extended family
Now: nuclear family. More freedom. Too many people living together  conflicts
2) What are the advantages of living in a big family?
Share household chores. Grandparents can take care of their grandchildren.
More fun. People living in a small family may feel lonely.
3) What are the disadvantages of living in a big family?
Conflicts: Old and young members have different views  conflicts
4) Do you see your family members often?
3 or 4 times a year since I live far from home. But make video calls on a frequent basis.
5) Who do you often receive support from: your family or your friends?
It depends. In terms of money, family. Willing to help. Hard to borrow money from friends.
Regarding work, friends. Understand me better.
6) In what situations do people get help from friends?
Work and other relationships. They understand me better  give me good advice and recommendations.
Example: When I broke up with ex-girlfriend 5 years ago. My friend helped me recover by giving me advice and drinking

with me.
