Glasgow is the third largest city in Great Britain. It lies on the river Clyde in Scotland
.Glasgow is a very old city. The university of Glasgow was founded in 1450. The
famous English Writer Defoe said that Glasgow was the cleanest and most beautiful
city in Great Britain. James Walt studied at Glasgow University. He became the famous
engineer and constructed a steam engine .Scotland is rich in coal and iron, so Glasgow
grows into a large city.
