Lý thuyết nhấn mạnh trong tiếng Anh EMPHASIS

EMPHASIS (NHẤN MẠNH)
I / Nhấn mạnh danh từ, cụm từ
1/ Dùng đại từ phản thân
Muốn nhấn mạnh danh từ hay cụm từ nào thì đại từ phản thân đặt ngay sau từ cần nhấn mạnh đó.
Ex: Mr. Tom teaches them French at an additional class.
a) Mr. Tom himself teaches them French at an additional class
b) Mr. Tom teaches them themself at an additional class.
c) Mr. Tom teaches them French itself at an additional class
d) Mr. Tom teaches them French at an additional class itself. ( not at school )
2/Dùng It is ...,not...that + S + Oa) I want to see Tom , I don' t want to see his assistant.
--> It is Tom , not his assistant that I want to see.
b) I took ker hand after the light had gone out.
--> It' s after the light had gone out that I took her hand.
3/ It take + Sb + time + to do Sth
a) He spent two months to finish that work .
--> It took him two months to finish that work.
b) Learning a language requires time and money.
--> It takes time and money to learn a language.
II/ Nhấn mạnh động từ
-Nhấn mạnh động tử thường
-Dùng ở thì hiện tại hay quá khứ đơn
1/ Câu phát biểu
Dùng trợ động từ do/does/did ngay trước động từ cần nhấn mạnh
a) Go ahead. I do understand what you say.
b) I believe he does work hard.
c) She did see him in the street the other day.
2/câu mệnh lệnh
Dùng trợ động từ do/don't hoặc never ngay trước động từ cần nhấn mạnh
a) Why do you stand here ? Do sit down please !
b) Do be aware of the danger you're going to be faced with.
c) Do hurry up please !

d) Don't you tease her
e) Don't you forget that.
F) Never mind.
g) Never put of tomorrow what you can do today.
Đôi khi do dc đặt ngay sau Inf
h) Sit down please do.
i) Hurry up, do.
Ta có thể dùng You thay Do
j) You shut up.
k) You take these suitcase ây.
3/Câu phủ định
Dùng not ngay sau động từ ( áp dụng cho cả thì hiện tại lẫn quá khứ)
Dùng never do/never does trước động từ cần nhấn mạnh ( thì hiện tại )
Dùng never did trước động từ cần nhấn mạnh ( thì quá khứ )
a) Clever as he might be, he succeeded not in file
b) I understand not a word you said.
c) He never does tell lies .
d) I never did see such a particular man.
III/ Nhấn mạnh tính từ
Phần này ko rõ ràng lắm, ta có nhiều cách để nhấn mạnh tính từ, thường là biến đổi cấu trúc câu. Các bạn hãy theo dõi 3

-->It is not easy to learn English.
b) Going abroad is difficullt .
--> We found it difficult to go abroad.
c) He was very nice to help us
--> It was very nice of him to help us
