Indonesia is the biggest country in South East Asia and an important member of ASEAN. It is made up of
many islands in the South China Sea. In some places it is close to Singapore and Malaysia, in others it is close to
Australia.
It has a tropical climate and it has many active volcanoes some of which cause a lot of damage when they
erupt. Its population is the largest of all Asian countries. It has a population of more than 185 million people and
