- Run through the picture ( names of the food and drink )
Ask Ss to predict what Ba, Lan ,Hoa and Nga ate and
drank for lunch. Each person ate 3 or 4 things


- Write your prediction in your notebook
- Give feedback


- Collect Ss’ ideas and write on the board.

Activity 1: Checking prediction


- Teacher plays the tape for Ss to listen and check their
predictions.


- Ss listen twice.



- Give feedback: Ss give their answers.


- Play the tape again for Ss to listen again to check.
