<b>A. LANGUAGE CONTENTS</b>



<b>1. VOCABULARY: Các em sẽ ôn lại từ vựng về chủ đề traditional crafts, Places of interest, city life,</b>
teen stress and pressure.


<b>2. GRAMMAR: </b>


<i><b>2.1. Complex sentences.</b></i>


Câu phức là câu có ít nhất 1 mệnh đề phụ thuộc (dependent clause) và 1 mệnh đề độc lập
<i>(independent clause) liên kết với nhau, sử dụng các liên từ phụ thuộc gọi là Subordinating</i>
Conjuntions.


Một số liên từ phụ thuộc được dùng để liên kết dependent clause với independent clause:
 <i>although; though, even though</i>


 <i>so that, in order that </i>
 <i>because, since, as</i>


 <i>when, while, before, after, as soon as, until</i>


 <i>………..</i>


<i><b>2.2. Phrasal verbs.</b></i>


<b>Phrasal verb</b> là sự kết hợp giữa một động từ và một hoặc hai tiểu từ <i>(particles)</i>. Các tiểu từ này có



thể là <i>giới từ (preposition)</i> hoặc <i>trạng từ (adverb).</i> Tuy nhiên khi thêm các tiểu từ này vào sau động


từ, nghĩa của <b>phrasal verb</b> sẽ hoàn toàn khác biệt so với động từ tạo nên nó.


 Các em cần chú ý một số cụm động từ tách rời và không tách rời.


- Một số cụm động từ không bao giờ tách rời như: set off, look forward to, put up with……..
- Một số cụm động từ có thể tách rời như: put s.th on, turn s.th/ s.b down, …….


<i><b>2.3. Comparison of adjectives and adverbs.</b></i>


- Các em có thể dùng thêm các từ sau đây trước<b> so sánh bằng</b> để làm nghĩa rõ ràng hơn: <i>exactly = </i>
<i>just, nearly= almost, hardly, twice, three times…</i>


- Dùng các cụm từ như much, a lot, a bit, a little trước so sánh hơn để chỉ mức độ so sánh


<b>-</b> Có thể dùng với <i>by far, second, third….</i>…trước <i>so sánh nhất</i> để nói rõ về sự chênh lệch giữa đối
tượng đứng nhất với các đối tượng khác.


<i><b>2.4. </b><b>Reported speech</b></i>


Khi tường thuật, ta cần lưu ý một số vấn đề sau:


+ Nếu động từ tường thuật (reporting verb) chia ở các thì hiện tại chúng ta giữ nguyên thì (tense)
của động từ chính, đại từ chỉ định và các trạng từ chỉ nơi chốn cũng như trạng từ chỉ thời gian.


+ Nếu động từ tường thuật (reporting verb) của câu ở thì quá khứ thì phải lùi động từ chính về q
khứ một bậc và thay đổi các trạng từ chỉ nơi chốn cũng như trạng từ chỉ thời gian.



<i><b>2.5. Question words before to – infinitives.</b></i>


Đây cũng là một dạng câu tường thuật, động từ ngun mẫu có <b>to</b> (<b>to-infinitíve</b>) có thể được dùng


sau các từ để hỏi <b>what, when, where, who, how</b>... (nhưng thường không sau <b>why</b>).


Cấu trúc này diễn tả những ý như sự bắt buộc và khả năng có thể xảy ra.


- Ta thường dùng các động từ: ask, wonder, (not) be sure, have no idea, (not) know, (not) decide,
(not) tell trước các vấn từ để hỏi + to – infinitive.

This car is <b>slightly</b> more expensive than that one.
So sánh nhất:



<i><b>It’s easily/by far</b></i> the most expensive of all the cars I’ve seen.


<b>2.4. Reported speech</b>
- Tường thuật dạng câu kể:


He said to me “<b>I</b> haven’t finished <b>my</b> work” → He told me <b>he</b> hadn’t finished <b>his</b> work.
- Tường thuật dạng câu hỏi:

- Tường thuật dạng câu mệnh lệnh:

<b>2.5. Question words before to – infinitives</b>
