<b>Cấu trúc câu so sánh và bài tập Tiếng Anh lớp 8</b>

<b>I. Lý thuyết </b>

<b>1. So sánh hơn</b>

a. Đối với tính từ ngắn, trạng từ ngắn (tức là chỉ có một âm tiết)
- Cấu trúc: <b>adj/ adv + ER + than</b>

- Ví dụ: Lan runs faster than me

b. Đối với tính từ dài, trạng từ dài (tức là có hai âm tiết trở lên)
- Cấu trúc: <b>more + adi/ adv + than</b>

- Ví dụ: He is more handsome than his brother.

<b>2. So sánh nhất:</b>

a. Đối với tính từ ngắn, trạng từ ngắn (tức là chỉ có một âm tiết)
- Cấu trúc:<b> the + adj/ adv + EST + than</b>

- Ví dụ: She is the smartest student in her class

b. Đối với tính từ dài, trạng từ dài (tức là có hai âm tiết trở lên)
- Cấu trúc: <b>the most + adj/ adv + than</b>

- Ví dụ: This is the most difficult lesson in the book

<b>3. Lưu ý</b>

a. <b>Các trường hợp đặc biệt</b>

<b>So sánh hơn</b> <b>So sánh hơn nhất</b>

Good/ well (tốt) better best
Bad/ badly (xấu) worse worst
Many/ much (nhiều) more most
Little (ít) less least

Far (xa) farther/further farthest/furthest

<b>b. Cách thêm “er” vào sau tính từ/ trạng từ ngắn</b>

Ví dụ: late => later

- Những tính từ/ trạng từ tận cùng là “y” thì bỏ “y” thêm “ier”
Ví dụ: happy => happier

- Những tính từ/ trạng có 1 âm tiết, tận cùng là một phụ âm mà trước nó là một ngun
âm thì nhân đơi phụ âm thêm “er”

Ví dụ: hot => hotter

- Những trường hợp cịn lại thêm “er” bình thường

<b>II. Luyện tập câu so sánh</b>

1. Cattle usually cross over the road. You should drive <b>more careful / more carefully</b>.
2. The old usually get up <b>earlier / more early</b> than the young.
