<b>I. Objectives: After the lesson, students are able to: </b>
- Pronounce correctly the sound of the letters “ed/d/”, “ed/t/”,“ed/id/”.
- Develop: listening, reading skills.
- Ss look after, solve problems and study themselves.
- Studious and obedient students and love their friends.

- Have Ss play the game:
Lucky numbers.

- Check some ss.
2. Listen and tick. Then write
& say aloud.
- Guide Ss to listen and tick.
- Check and correct.
3. Let’s chant (p62)
- Introduce the Chant:
<i> What did he do yesterday?</i>
- Work in groups to play the game.
- Make sentences.
-Identify the letters coloured differently
- Ss pay attention to the letters coloured
differently.
- Ss learn to produce the sound of the letters
“ed/d/”, “ed/t/”,“ed/id/”.
- Listen the CD.
- Listen the CD & repeat the letters “ed/d/”,
“ed/t/”,“ed/id/”, each line of the text in chorus.
- Read in groups./ in pairs.
- Give out and check.
- Read 4 sentences, guess the way to read /d/,
/t/, /id/
- Listen the recording 2 times and tick.
- Check their guess. Compare the answer with
the partner.
- 4 Ss give the key. The rest of the class correct
- Ps listen to the tape and chant
- Ps chant in group & individual.
